I’ve tried a few keyboard protection cloths for MacBooks before, and this is easily the best one I’ve used so far. The biggest advantage is how incredibly thin it is. Unlike some other brands, this one allows my MacBook to close completely with no visible gap or extra pressure on the screen. That was very important to me because thicker keyboard covers and cloths can sometimes leave marks on the display over time. The material feels very soft and smooth, and it does a great job protecting the screen from keyboard imprints and fingerprints. I’ve been using it regularly and haven’t noticed any marks or residue on the display. It also comes nicely packaged and includes two microfiber blankets, which is a great value. The extra one is useful to keep as a backup or for cleaning. Fit-wise: - On my MacBook Pro 13", it covers the full keyboard area plus one side of the speakers. - On my MacBook Pro 14" (M5), it covers the keyboard area well, although the side speakers remain uncovered. Even with the slightly different fit between models, the product exceeded my expectations overall. If you want a very thin keyboard/screen protector cloth that won’t interfere with closing your MacBook, this is an excellent option.

Chi usa un laptop sa benissimo che, a furia di aprirlo e chiuderlo, il grasso dei tasti o la pressione della tastiera finiscono sempre per lasciare quei fastidiosissimi segni permanenti sullo schermo. Questo panno proteggi schermo della UPPERCASE è la soluzione definitiva al problema. Il panno in microfibra è sottilissimo, tagliato al millimetro per la sagoma da 13 pollici. Quando si chiude il portatile non fa assolutamente spessore e il coperchio si chiude in modo del tutto naturale, senza forzare la cerniera o lasciare fessure. Oltre a fare da scudo protettivo mentre il laptop è nello zaino, è comodissimo anche come panno per la pulizia quotidiana: la microfibra è di ottima qualità e basta una passata veloce per rimuovere impronte, polvere o ditate dal display senza graffiarlo o dover usare prodotti chimici. Si lava comodamente a mano quando si sporca e torna come nuovo. Un accessorio semplice, economico ma utilissimo per mantenere lo schermo del computer perfetto nel tempo. Promosso a pieni voti!

if you’re a new macbook user, don’t bother with spending hours traversing youtube videos and random reddit threads. you’ll get a dozen conflicting answers and be unsure whether you should use a blanket or protector or nothing at all (because the tolerances of the hinge are designed to be perfect, etc etc). the answer is this: buy the ghostblanket and don’t waste your time wondering what to get. seriously. me and my friend both bought macbooks this year and we’re both new users. her macbook is only a few months older than mine, but her screen is COVERED in marks from the keyboard that cannot be wiped off. it’s actually imprinted the keys onto the display. she asked me if i knew how to remove them and unfortunately she can’t. i bought this ghost blanket and it is the ONLY essential thing that i would recommend for a macbook, because the keys *will* imprint on the screen otherwise. (see pics for my screen WITH the blanket and my friend’s screen WITHOUT using a blanket!) my screen is about two months old, and i have zero keyboard marks on the screen whatsoever. the difference is insane. the product is perfectly sized and fits without hanging over the edge of the macbook. it sits flat, and doesn’t curl up or anything like that. it’s really easy to use, and i like to joke that i have to tuck my macbook into bed before closing the lid! the appearance matches the macbook well, and it feels well-made. the fabric feels nice and smooth, there’s no frayed edges nor have the edges begun to fray after consistent use, so it’s been durable so far. i haven’t needed to use the second one in the package yet or swap them out, but it’s nice to have the extra backup if i need to wash it! i don’t get marks on the screen from anything like dust or little stains over time on the blanket, which is also a relief. i also love it because whenever i open my macbook, the ghostblanket doubles up as something i can use to wipe the display to clean it up if i’ve got a fingerprint or dust on it (and i usually need to wipe it every other time) if you’re a creative professional like me and your job involves any kind of graphic work, don’t use a screen protector on a macbook. you’ll sacrifice the clarity of the display, text will become blurrier, colours will be dulled and less accurate with a matte protector, or you’ll be stuck with a glossy protector which gives the screen awful glare… which entirely defeats the point of having a macbook display - they’re designed to be great screens! the keyboard is the main issue for the screen, and this product solves that. this will keep your display looking like new for months if you care for your macbook.
