Le produit affiché mentionnait deux appuis-livres différents: un représentant un homme, l’autre une femme. J’ai malheureusement reçu deux pièces identiques (version homme). Le cadeau que je voulais étant pour une femme, j’ai été très déçue. Pour ce qui de la qualité des matériaux, c’est parfait.

I had previously purchased a single Danya B bookend of a person reading inside a ring. It was for my bookworm son, and I just thought it would be an artsy "keep forever" sort of thing he could take with him to college. He loved it so much that he asked for more like it...and these fit the bill. Note that they are heavy for their size (they're solid metal), but not heavy enough to hold up a long row of books, so you have to be strategic in how you use them. They are part art, part bookend, I would say. In reading reviews of other Danya B pieces, there are many that seem to be lighter than these and truly would be decorative-only. These are heavier than that. You can lean some books, just not a big pile of books. I wish there were more like these to pick from - ones that are readers, and a little heavier.

Interesting and well made pieces for decoration. I wish they were slightly bigger. I placed them on rustic shelves but would imagine they would look nice on other shelves as well. Arrived as expected. I would, however, suggest to the seller not to use USPS if shipping to Breckenridge, CO as for whatever reason, USPS do not bring packages to the HOA offices where we actually receive all our packages and mail. Not sure why. Alternatively, if I knew that USPS would be used as a carrier when I buy, I would provide a PO box in address instead.

Looks exactly as advertised, including the heavy weight to hold up heavy books. I got mine as a cheaper Amazon Warehouse deal, so the packaging was a little messy to clean up, but that's always one of the risks. One of the figurines heads also has a little of the outer coating rubbed off, but it kind of just makes it look a little artfully worn, no big deal.
