This was a reconditioned unit. Returned for refund rather than replacement because support website was so poor. I did not want again to repeat the three hours I spent trying to make it work

My wife and I, and our respective parents honestly, are terrible house keepers. Too lazy to change, but still hated how dirty and dingy my homes got, and relished the brief respite after even the most cursory cleaning. Enter iRobot with the perfect solution to my infirmity: throw hundreds of dollars at it! As you probably all know, the class of problems you can't solve with money is small, so the question ends up being, "is it worth it?" I can state without equivocation that Roombas are worth every penny. Frequent vacuuming, like you might get in a well-maintained home, has a huge positive impact on cleanliness. Automate if you're lazy, people. The time is now.

My first few days with this refurbished device. I have allergies so I'm desperate to get any hair and dust managed so I can breathe. I love this thing. My first iRobot and I'm impressed. I updated the firmware an now the app has the mapping feature available on the i7 + models. It's amazing how much hair and dirt this thing picks up, even after I manually vacuumed it found places I missed. So far so good. Got a great discount purchasing a refurbished unit and so far I can't see an visible signs that it was used or had any problem. The app shows it had 20 hours on it. Not sure if they all show that. I'll circle back in a few months with an update. So far, recommend!

Cleaned fairly well, but refurbishment did not cure devices faults……repeatedly.goes back to dock to empty bin when almost nothing in bin; repeatedly cleans same areas, while omitting others entirely. This was third refurbished unit received, and all suffer from same faults, so assume inadequate refurbishing.

I am amazed as to the suction power. Like the way it cleans under furniture and beds. Love my clean floors. The best.
