An Awesome, Portable Game.
For the full review and more, please visit yayornay.tk!Starting with the box/design. The box has a nice matte finish, regular readers will know that I love this type of finish, it's durable, looks great, and feels even better. The biggest selling point of this game is the pocket-able size, it was able to travel back and forth from my friends place to my home inside of my jacket pocket while also being sat, stepped, and fallen on. The art is beautiful and lines the entirety of the box. There is a short description on the back along with the contents, credits, and the advantages of the game.Next, the big question, is the game actually fun? The answer, it depends. If you are a person who constantly travels, loves games, loves strategy, but don't have the time to play them; this is the game/series for you. If you're a casual gamer who prefers luck-based or less strategy focused games, this is not for you. This game is all about conquest, and furthering specific resources in order to not immediately meet the end of game conditions and end up losing. There are some cool mechanics, such as following the action of another player, and players taking up actions on the action card so that others can't do the same thing, along with the unique region and war benefit system. The game, while the 31-Page rulebook can be a little intimidating, is relatively simple. Setup can take 1-2 minutes but is straightforward and easy. Gameplay is also super simple, but can be a tad bit confusing when you're first reading through the rules. My usual group of friends were driven away and begun to complain and get bored due to the setup process and me being a bit unfamiliar with the rules, but as gameplay progressed, really got in to the game and begun to have fun. This is an AWESOME game for just $10.

Makes an incredible promise... and then DELIVERS!
There's no way that a 4X game can fit into a box the size of a deck of cards. Period. But... Ultra Tiny Epic Kingdoms does exactly that. This is not some sort of novelty or proof-of-concept: this is not a game that leaves you impressed with its ingenuity while you move onto something with more depth or bigger pieces. This is a game that offers the richness, complexity, enjoyment, and thematic immersion of a game 20 times its size, but that feels perfectly natural fitting into the box it comes in. This is not a game to be tested and then upgraded from: this is the complete package. And the gameplay? Oh, the gameplay. 16 completely unique civs... multiple paths to victory... a sense of tension and accomplishment... a sense of the fundamental fairness of the game... a sensible, simple rulebook. A SOLO MODE: of course, nothing can capture the enjoyment of playing with friends, but the solo mode here gives back nearly ALL of the tactical complexity that multiplayer does. This isn't some rule variant that allows the game to be awkwardly single player: it feels like playing against a computer (whose difficulty, it should be mentioned, can even be adjusted). A note on solo play: it will require a 12-sided die not included in the game, or any random-number generator app or website, available free. This game is a gem. It's the real deal.

good solo system
a good overall game .I gave it 4 stars because i felt board size needed to be bigger.

I big game in a tiny box
I was pleasantly surprised how easy this game was to learn and play. My wife destroyed me in our first game because I over extended too early in the game. Looking back I can see some obvious changes I would make. It's easy to wrap your head around the strategy and all subsequent plays will be much better. The small foot print works too. I'll be bringing this game to our next dinner outing to play while waiting for the order. Good stuff.

Great game
Great game and I like the portability of the ultra tiny version. Decided to order the regular size game as the ultra tiny version is a little awkward to use as the pieces barely fit within the markings on the card. Great game play and lots of factions to choose from so high replay value.

Tiny epic games
Well though on how to compress the game in a smaller version of the tiny epic series, package arrived earlier than expected! One card was bent from the package, but after checking the content it was a duplicated card, so no big deal on the extra bent card.

I love this game
I love this game. Here's why:1) It's small. About the size of a standard deck of cards. It's easy to bring anywhere, yet it functions like a full sized game.2) It's fun. The gameplay reminds me of Settlers of Catan. It takes a couple times of reading the manual to fully understand how to play. I googled how to play as well. It's not a hard game. It just takes a little time to understand the setup and game play.3) It has a solo play option. Since I moved I don't have a group of people to play board games with. The fact that I can play this on my own is great. It may not be the same as playing with other people, but it's still fun. I downloaded a dice app since I don't have a 12 sided set of dice.

Portable and fun
Easy enough to learn. Great solo or with others. Light weight and very portable. Good for a lunch break or whilst traveling.

Small box, big game :)
A lot of game in a box the size of a deck of cards - I bought this for solo play, and because of the small footprint and the price, and it ticks all those boxes rather well. The different factions within the game mean that the replay-ability should be high - The only negative is that the print in the rule book is small - Overall, I recommend it :)

Perfect gaming companion when you are away from home
The form factor may be experimental, but it works for the most part. Gives the full Tiny Epic Kingdoms experience in a smaller form factor. And it also includes the "Compass Card" and rules that allow for solo play, but you would ideally need a 12-sided dice which is not included.
