This is the kind of stealthy fountain with an AC adapter that I was looking for. It makes that perfect water trickling sound is why... and battery fountains never last very long for me, nor are they powerful enough to create that trickling sound. The motor is completely quiet, too. I only noticed one thing funny about this fountain, and that's that the tubing isn't long enough to allow you to attach the motor to it and then suction the motor to the bottom of the bowl. I was concerned this may involve the motor getting air into it, but fortunately, it submerged completely in the water when I put the lid on, so the suction isn't necessary. Overall it's not a bad little fountain and would make an ideal gift for the feng shui enthusiast in your life (moving water increases the feng shui of a room).

It isn’t battery operated. It doesn’t make water flowing sounds. Those were the two reasons why I bought it. I will be returning it.

I bought this for my sister who is a practicing Wiccan. This is a beautiful way to represent the water Element. The bubbling waterfall is beautiful and relaxing to watch. The light is lovely as well. I really like how it changes color automatically. The set also comes with little pebbles and adorable little decorations. The ladybugs come with adhesive already applied to the back and the little bird is so cute.

Good value for the money. Colors are pretty.

This mini tabletop fountain is described as battery-powered, and it is not. An electrical cord will not work for my project.
