Q: is this product flat pack

Yes. It arrives in pieces, in a surprisingly small cardboard box, and you need to put it all together with your own tools. I found the instruction leaflet illustrations were way too small to be legible, so you need to figure it out just by looking at the parts combined with a bit of trial and error. It's a bit of a crypton factor test. But you get there in the end. I guess if it helps to keep the price down, then it's worth wrestling with. I think it's a top quality cement mixer, let down by a cheaply produced how-to-put-the-flat-pack-together leaflet.
