A Christmas Miracle for the Railway Girls: The festive, feel-good and romantic historical fiction book (The Railway Girls Series, 6)

I couldn't wait to open this book and start reading. Having read the previous 5 I knew I would be in for a great read, and I wasn't disappointed. Straight away I was back with all the familiar characters and carried along with them in their lives through working on the railways to their personal lives, their ups and downs in relationships. I recommend everybody start reading this series, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait until April and book 7 to see what the girls are up to next. A great read Maisie Thomas.

Maisie Thomas has once again written a delightful story of the amazing Railway Girls, Dot, Mabel, Alison, Margaret, Cordelia and Collette and the other characters around these girls. This is the sixth one in the series and it gets better with every book, I will not spoil the story but it is a recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐read I would give more if I could. I am now looking forward to the next one which is pre-ordered.

I just love how despite the different backgrounds and in normal times none of these women would have met and become such good friends. I love all the storylines, not just in this book, but how they all weave together throughout the series. I've come to see the characters as friends of mine and I just love hearing about how they are doing.The storyline I was particularly drawn to was Colette, who had faked her own death to run away from her controlling husband. But she's now been found and has to go back. I find it really sad that women were so dominated by men. Her decisions could be reversed by her husband. I was also touched by Cordelia at finally falling in love with her husband. I dont want to spoil things by revealing too much but there is so much more in the book.I really could gush about the series all day long. There is so much love and research gone into this book and it shines out of every page. If you love these kind of reads then you will love this series.

Have just had this book uploaded and have already started reading it. it is living up to my expectations of this author
