SwivelClip Mini LED Light Clip-On Ball Cap or Shirt Rechargeable Flashlight

I work in the auto industry, and need to work on repairs in poorly lit areas fairly frequently. Needed a hands-free rechargeable light that could stay attached to head ppe, and since my company's preference is a $40 product which they no longer provide to employees, I decided to get my own.This product provides nice lighting options; forward, backward, and a lantern mode that isn't very bright, but will at least allow others to see you. The illumination by all three modes is fairly wide, but not the brightest compared to similar products. Still plenty enough to peek into nooks and crannies that are otherwise hard to work with. It holds a charge for a satisfying amount of time; used mine across three weeks just fine.I am mildly annoyed by the mounting system though. The light is lightweight until you place it at the brim of your hat, where it adds just enough downward force to constantly tilt the hat forwards. Not sure if that was due to my hair, sweat, working position, or a combination of them all, but I gave up putting it on top and chose to place it on my uniform chest pocket; still worked, but I did need to angle myself a bit more than necessary. The light itself can rotate, but only along one axis. The clip is magnetic, which I guess is useful to people who have somewhere to put it, but the attractive force is on the weak side in my opinion; only works well on completely flat surfaces.If the developer of this product could find a way for the light to be clipped on the side of a hat so that the overall center of gravity is closer to your head, I think the weight issue would be mitigated instead of placing the light at the tip of your hat.+Very affordable and superb value+Dependable battery+Easy to charge via usb+Adjustable light angle that doesn't flop around+Light covers sufficiently wide area-Clip isn't the greatest and may cause its weight to be an issue-Not the brightest clip-on light available, although it gets the job done-Rotates only along one axis

Fits in a pocket, clip works great on my hat or a bandana thats tied around my head (i do when its hot) magnets r definitely strong enuf. As always the light could be brighter battery could last longer but for the price its great! I bought 2. Plugs right into usb. I know i said light could be brighter but dont get me wrong it is definitely enuf light for working and wiring. Jus dont expect ot to light up an area when showing sum1 something. Has a strong glow but not projection. Has 3 settings not 100% what they r. Seems like 1 side other side then half and half for like a lantern? Should have jus went for bright and brighter on both sides instead. Great personal work light poor lamp/lantern. Which should be expected.

Thank goodness I found this light! It was exactly what I was looking for. I had a beanie with LED lights attached to a battery pack in the brim of a beanie I bought at Home Depot a few months ago. It was time to wash the hat. So I removed the batteries as the instructions indicated and when it was dry, the lights were so dim they became useless. That was my go to hat! I didn't know what I was going to do...until I found this light! I decided to crochet myself a hat that I could put this light in and IT IS PERFECT! I don't have any pictures of the light while it's on but it's bright enough to see your path at night AND makes you visible to the cars on the road. I recently moved to a very friendly pedestrian city and I use public transportation. I have a long commute for work so I walk to the bus stop when it's dark in the morning and I'm walking home In the dark in the evening...not to mention my two dogs. If it weren't for this light, I couldn't find what I need to pick up when I take them for their walk. After reading the questions and answers segment, I made a mental note to check back for the new colors. I'll be ordering all colors soon because I plan to make hats for my camper friends and my family members. It's extremely convenient to have this "mounted" in a hat...who doesn't love hands free? There was one alteration I made to the light on my hat...I removed the clip and added a pocket to my hat to secure the light. That was my preference but my brother left his clip on (he had to have one when he saw my hat so I made him one). The charge lasts for a while. I charge my light about every ten days. Obviously if you have it on for long periods, you'll need to charge it more often. It completely went dead on me last week on my way home from work and you can see it getting dimmer and dimmer so you'll know when it needs a charge. Plug it in for a few hours and you'll be ready to use it again! Kudos to the makers of this light! This is truly the best thing since sliced bread hahaha
