Very good quality
This is the best purée to use for a great sauce. It gives a nice depth of flavour to my Bolognaise sauce or a tomato sauce.

Deep intense flavour
I’ve used Napolina or Cirio brand tomato purée and tinned tomatoes for some years. I’ve recently tried the Mutti range of tomato products and I’m impressed. They’re a little more expensive, but the flavour is really intense and I find you use a little less. This paste is thick and rich. There’s a long date on the pack and they keep well once opened. Not a problem as I get through a tube or two each week.Happy to recommend this purée.

Sumptuous. Rich. Thick. What's not to like?Also try their chopped tomatoes. I was always against the concept, preferring to use fresh tomatoes with a bit of the Mutti Paste....but hey! Needs must. Why not all three? The chili I made yesterday using a combination--three hours in a low oven--emerged triumphant and wiser for the experience. Until it was devoured with zest! Mille grazie, Mutti!

Once you try Mutti you can't go back !
Mutti tomato products have the most wonderful flavour, nothing else is quite the same. I discovered it on a holiday to Rome, and was thrilled to find it available over here. It can be a little expensive if not bought it bulk, but the product is fantastic.
