I was pleasantly surprised with this poncho, especially considering the low cost of it.While it doesn't feel like the highest quality, I can't find any faults for the price. The material is soft, very absorbent, and lightweight. It is very loose fitting, allowing for plenty of movement and would be adequate for changing underneath if you were at a beach or a poolside. I am around 5'10" tall, and clothing varies between small and medium. This came to just below my knees, which was better than expected.As mentioned, this is quite thin and very lightweight, and may not provide very much insulation if you were hoping for it to keep you warm, but it serves the purpose of getting you dry and keeping you covered up, potentially keeping a light breeze off you - allowing you to get warmed up quicker than waiting to dry.After seeing reviews stating that seams had come away during washing, I washed this soon after receiving it as I'd rather be aware of any faults early on, when they can then be dealt with easily. I washed and tumble dried this on a Synthetics cycle which spins slightly slower, at 40 degrees, along with other items being washed and dried at the same time - and it came out fine, with no tears, or broken seams.With regards to reviews stating that this is not very absorbent - this is a microfibre product and needs to be washed accordingly. Wash microfibre towels without any fabric softener, as this clogs the fibres and will cause it to almost repel liquid rather than absorb it. Until the towel has had it's first wash, it also won't be as absorbent as it has the potential to be.

Bought these for myself and a family member for taking on holiday - wanted a cover up for after the shower, but would work for the beach or the pool too. They're slightly thinner than a toweling bathrobe, so not quite as absorbent, but they're great for throwing on after a shower in a hotel room / cruise cabin. Knee length or longer depending on your height, so plenty of modesty, and you'll dry quickly when wearing it (meaning less need for hotel towels!). Once you're dry, you just hang it up to dry for next time. As it's not too thick, it doesn't take up too much space in luggage.

Bought for a trip, lots of room, colour as stated, very light weight and super soft, perfect for wild swimming. Knocked a star off as one of the seems has the stitching coming undone.

Cheap. Does its job. Good fabric. Thick. Not very absorbent but does the job. Pretty color.

Bought this to use after swimming as a quick cover up when first out and then as a towel when drying. It fulfils the first function perfectly. It's huge and easy to put on. However, it has absolutely no use as a towel at all, it has no absorbency. Really not impressed and I'm buying a different one. Wouldn't recommend or buy again.

I was going to try wild swimming for the first time and didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't like it. I saw this and decided to give it a try. I have to say, I was very impressed - both with myself for getting into the river, and the robe! No, it won't keep out the wind, but on a foggy day on a river bank, it did the job. I put it on and took off my costume, then sat and dried my feet and legs. By the time I had done that, the rest of me was dry and fairly warm. It was then roomy enough to put on my underwear, t shirt and leggings. the robe was damp when I took it off, so had definitely wicked up the water.For the price I thought it was excellent and I know another lady who was swimming, was also impressed. It rolled up tight enough to go into my backpack along with all the other paraphernalia. A I'm thinking of getting one for my dog!

Plenty of room to keep your modesty while changing in public. Nice and soft and just long enough for people who are 5ft 7 or lower.

This is absolutely the best thing that I have ever owned! Is it attractive? Not one bit. Do I wear it constantly while in my house? Absolutely! It is the perfect weight and so comfortable!

This came yesterday just as I was off to the pool. Lightweight but absorbent and perfect for putting on after a swim to return to my apartment.Haven't washed it yet but hopefully it will be fine and not shrink but it is voluminous
