I love the large size. I can dry larger sections of hair at a time which shortens my dry time. Compact and easy to store with a bag that’s included. Very happy!

It’s too big. Like really big. So the air dispersement is not great or even. Too much air escapes out the sides. Also, this is a universal fit for most regular size hair dryers. So the part where it connects to the dryer unfortunately allows air to escape through the sides.You’d have to have an ogre size head for this to work. Size wise I would’ve preferred something at least about 25% smaller. I tried it and my daughter tried it and unfortunately none of us were impressed.

I’m fairly new to diffusers and am a fan of the Black Orchid because it is large and deep (and my hair just barely brushes my shoulders, so I don’t have as much hair as some others), but it is a major pain to travel with. Additionally, I went to a hotel once and brought my Black Orchid with my Snozzle Pro, but it didn’t fit the hair dryer at the hotel.I was planning a cruise anyway, so I invested in this diffuser. It is oval and not round, so it is larger than many of the others sold here and elsewhere. I used it both at home with my own blow dryer and during my cruise this past week using the dryer provided by the cruise line, as well as at the hotel the night before using the hotel’s blow dryer. My blow dryer is narrow enough that the “collar” of the diffuser is folded out, but the one on the cruise ship and in the hotel needed it tucked in to accommodate a wider blow dryer. (Neither was one of the ones that snaps into a wall but still, they had wide nozzles.)Anyway, this diffuser accommodated both the narrow and the wide blow dryers equally well. I do like the wide size of the diffuser itself, which did make it a little tough to handle, and although I might have done better with a round one, those of you with more hair than I might appreciate the larger, oval shape. I do wish it were a bit deeper.My only complaint is that it does like to collapse on you while you’re diffusing. I suppose it’s just the nature of using a diffuser that collapses nicely into your suitcase. Beggars can’t be choosers. It took me a bit to get the hang of using this diffuser, but eventually I did, so it didn’t collapse quite as often on me.If you’re expecting the performance of an “at-home” diffuser, you’re going to be disappointed, but this diffuser is far better than no diffuser at all if you cannot afford the luggage space for a regular one (or don’t want to risk breaking one during your travels). It does come in a nice little drawstring bag, which makes it easier to pack.Overall, I would definitely still use this diffuser for travel and would not bother packing a regular diffuser.

I have a standard size, round blow-drier. Even though I push it all the way on it pops off as soon as the Silicone gets warm. I have to hold it on with one hand and move the blow dryer around with the other. The idea of a collapsible diffuser is good and it’s nice and thick, just wish it stayed on better.

This is exactly what I have needed. Its large and flexible to hold at any angle. Since it collapses, that makes it great for traveling. I love it so much, I bought a second one to gift to a fellow curly hair friend.

I like that this diffuser can hold a lot of hair, however, it’s heavy. So the combination of the weight of the diffuser, and weight of wet hair plus the weight of your blow dryer, it can get super heavy for your arms. I did experience the diffuser falling off while blow drying. I wish the fingers in the diffuser were a tad bit taller. Overall it’s a decent diffuser. Do i think I’ll use it consistently? Probably not.

This is a great diffuser. Thes oval shape covers so much hair. And it fits great on my blow dryer. The collapse makes it great for traveling. And it doesn't collapse easily while drying, it does hold up. I saw other reviews say different, but I had a good experience.

It shows my exact hairdryer in the description, however it does not actually work with it. It popped off the second I moved my hand from putting it on. Wouldn’t stay on at all, tried six times and just got irritated..
