It works somewhat as described but if you're expecting something miraculous you'll be a bit disappointed. It does work, but as far as it being better than your own fingers/hands or better than a sponge, that doesn't seem to be the case. Yes, it wastes less product because it won't absorb any of the makeup, unlike your hands or a sponge. But trying to get it to cover your face evenly and blend in is quite difficult with this product, I just end up using my fingers to blend it, which kind of defeats the purpose. Also, there is a seam all the way around that is scratchy and not really pleasant to rub on your face and the whole thing kind of feels like it's covered in a soft plastic, not the smooth silicone you expect from the pictures. So maybe there's a better one out there in another brand, but this can't be what everyone's talking about.

I have to admit I thought silicone blenders were a fad and would pass but here's what I learned.I wouldn't say it is great at blending but it is great for putting on liquid foundation. I went from using almost 3 pumps of my foundation with a normal sponge blender to using a little less than one pump with this silicone applicator (I say applicator because I don't get any 'blending' benefits from this). I'm using about a third of the product than I was using. What a savings right there!When I highlight, I use my sponge blender to blend. That being said, I love this thing.

Blending was definitely not as easy as with a traditional sponge and even still looked a bit off. The seams started opening after just a few uses as well, so the quality wasn't that great. It's nice to be able to rinse it off though! I probably won't replace as I'm disappointed overall.

I usually use a brush to apply foundation makeup and have never enjoyed using sponges or so called "blenders." I thought that this silicone sponge might be a bit different. It was worth the try but in the end, I found it did not perform any differently than the more traditional ones I've tried. I'll be sticking with my brushes.

No instructions came with this product. I thought you take the outer cover off. Now I have a mess!!I I read on another site you are not suppose to take off the cover. I guess I will just have to throw it away!! That was a waste!!

I haven't tried any other brands so I can't really compare but I love this product! I end up using at least 50% foundation than with a brush or a beauty blender. This makes me quite happy since at $47 a bottle my foundation is a bit pricey. With the proper use, this applies the foundation perfectly too.

Kind of a waste of money. It's nothing revolutionary, and it doesn't blend well.

I didn’t like it. It is not about its brand. It is about the idea itself of having my makeup put by a silicon beauty blender. It never worked good on my face skin.
