MonfishSquare Brownie Cake Pan - Deep 9 inch bread Pan Heavy Duty Carbon Steel Bakeware Textured Finish - Non-Stick Baking Tray

So I typically bake with glass, but brownies do not come out right, no matter how I adjust the recipe. I was looking for a heavy non-stick pan to bake my brownies with and this fit the bill. I followed the directions and washed, then seasoned the pan before using. I lined the pan in parchment, then sprayed it in non-stick spray before using. The brownies came out perfect, but when I hand washed with my regular blue Dawn, there was a tacky substance where the non-stick spray was. IDK if I shouldn't use the spray or what. I was finally able to get the tacky spray off by using baking soda. I'll bake another batch just using butter and hopefully nothing sticks and there's no tacky reside. I'd hate for the baking soda to ruin the pan.

This heavy pan bakes beautifully. We tries a cinnamon cake last night -- something my husband makes every week or two -- and it has never come out so perfectly. The cake rose beautifully and came out moist with the perfect crumb on top. The bottom was just as light and moist, but absolutely done.We love the textured bottom. We have a pizza pan finished the same way and it makes a huge difference in how well the crust comes out.This pan is nonstick, but as always, he added a very light spray of oil/flour. It just seems like a good idea because you never know how well non-stick coatings will last.We love this pan and look forward to a batch of brownies! This pan is built to last!

This is a really good pan. It's everything it says it is and is a workhorse for baking. It's heavy, thick, and easy to use and clean.The only thing negative I would say is that I'm always leery of "non-stick" stuff especially when the company doesn't specify the coatings they use and this probably isn't the healthiest thing to bake in due to its really effective nonstick surface. (The company does include a little sheet that says they don't use BPA, PFOA, or Teflon but sadly, this covers practically nothing because there are a zillion other coating agents that are even worse that are used instead.) Definitely do not use a knife, fork, or any metal utensil on it as you will compromise the coating and release chemicals.

This is a fantastic brownie pan, it's nonstick and is quite sturdy. The nonstick coating is pretty decent and the textured bottom makes it easier to get the brownie out of the pan. Overall if you need a brownie pan then this is an excellent choice and would make a fine addition to you cookware.

This is one great pan. It’s heavy and just seems to spread out the heat evenly. I am pleased with the quality and how well my brownies turned out. Not flimsy and hopefully won’t rust like my old one.

I love the pan. Worth every penny.
