Stellar work once again from Jonathan Brooks. Lots of action and adventure, dungeons and monsters. Looking forward to the next one.

I really enjoyed the station core series (and several other of Jonathan Brooks dungeon core series). As Milton the station core completes his original quest and launches into space, he finds things a bit different from when he left thousands of years ago. There's a wonderful crossover with one of his other series. Good space romping, some good dungeon action. Things are off to a great start. A wonderful read.Score: 8.8 out of 10

I’m enjoying the return of Milton and the gang. A crazy series of events. I can’t wait to see where he goes next. I had to pause my reading and dive into the Crafting Dungeon series. Which I also enjoyed.

Milton has completed his first goal as a Station Core. He is fully repaired and has built a fleet to leave Praxia. When his fleet arrives, it is immediately destroyed in what should be friendly space. He manages to escape with only his own ship. Now to find out what just happened!This is going to be a capstone series for Jonathan Brooks! It looks like all or most of his other series may be involved. While you don’t have to have read any of Jonathan’s other series, it certainly made it more enjoyable! I highly recommend this book and am really excited for book 2!Content warning: The original Station core had a lot of language in it. This is not the case with Core Connections. There are still hints, but it is always cut off.

Guest stars of course. This is a very competent sequel that raises the stakes, builds the lore, and has its own unique identity. You don’t need to have read the previous series to get the jist of it but you should because they are great books. The story is a whirlwind affair that quickly established the new status qoue but that mostly serves to set up the ongoing adventure. Here’s to infinity and beyond.

Milton and ALLANA depart Proctus; only to discover that Proctus is not in the Dimension of their origin. Worse yet, when they drop out of the "travel dimension" into their home Dimension they discover that they do not have a record of the Proctans' Dimensional Signature and are thus unable to return there, or access the resources they have accumulated there. From that starting point things really devolve into quite desperate straits for the Station Core and his advisor.This novel may be of interest to fans of the wider Fantasy genre and to those who enjoy playing RPGs.

I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who like LitRPG and dungeon core type of books.

I was so excited to start reading this but sadly my interest just went downhill from there. I like the premise of the story but the main character is very infuriating for me.At the the start of the first five book series, the MC is presented as a detail oriented semi-successful gamer and then proceeds to make numerous dumb decisions which should have led to severe consequences but the plot armor is thick. I mean how do you get on a spaceship and jump into the unknown with the least bit of practice? What is the use of all that processing power (and also the intelligence/processing power stat) of the core if it’s just going to act like like a poor substitute for a human. Another sticking point for me is that the MC does not seem to grow or learn from previous experience.

This series continues the story of my favorite works by Jonathan Brooks so far, and completely caught me off guard by bringing back some characters I thought I'd never see again. Lots of fun, and I can't wait for the next one!

Not to give anything away, but if you have read some of the authors other books there is a huge squeeeeeee moment about half way through this book. The only sad moment was finishing and realising the next book wasn't out yet!

Another great great from Jonathan. The storyline welds previous elements together and introduces Milton to a potential love interest! It is best to have read the previous series already, otherwise it probably won't make sense. Not a problem for me, as I devour the books as soon as they are released! The story flows well, with sympathetic characters. I never give spoilers! My only problem is that I have to wait for the next book. Please write it quickly Jonathan! I highly recommend the book.
