Arlo Guthrie's WB/Reprise Years in the Spotlight
I've only thumbed through the book so far, but it looks fabulous. A real find, delivered quickly and safely. A great experience!

nothing to dislike its about Arlo Guthrie

Arlo deserves more recognition and this book proves it.
Very informative. The best book on Guthrie Jr, not only because it is the only one. I'm surprised Arlo did not collaborate, but it's both anegdotical and scholary (with the proportions between the two I appreciate the most). A true winner. Sure read it along the music - his entire Warner/Reprise catalogue.

Music history of Arlo
This book provided just what it promised, a transcription from interviews, quotes, and listing of where, when, and what songs were played and recorded by whom. I rated it 4 stars on this basis. While some of Arlo's personality resides within this telling of the sequences of music events, the author does not seem to have any personal connection to the Guthrie family and not to Arlo at all. This is NOT a biography and anyone hoping to read one would be disappointed.
