5★/55🌶/5Mesmerising. Stunning. Absorbing. That’s just a few words to describe my feelings after reading The Enigma. I thought The Brit was great, but this book… it’s just simply a masterpiece for me, on so many levels. Intriguing plot, all those secrets, lies and deception, betrayal, and such unexpected story development captivated me from the start to the end. Complexity of the characters just blows me away. James and Beau have both lost their immediate family, while seeking for answers and vengeance against those responsible, their paths cross and they cannot stay away from each other. Their relationship that is so intense, raw and passionate, dark, dirty and kinky, may be perceived as toxic and unhealthy, but in fact for them is therapeutic, freeing from the tormenting fear, pain. Helping find peace in intimacy. Their love, the journey to understand their feelings and give a name to it, is written so flawlessly and beautifully.5★ is simply not enough to rate this book. So far my favourite one by JEM. Cannot wait to find out what happens next.

this was the second book, and it was so good it took, me two days to finish

OMG this book is incredible from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down took me only two days to finish. Rollercoaster ride and a fantastic piece of writing I want book 3 now. The story is a page tuner from beginning to the end. Jodi did it again. It was as dark as the Brit book and a great love story, I can’t believe that I have to wait for the next instalment. Well done Jodi ellan Malpas.I have an idea who the bear is and I can’t wait to find out if I’m right. It is well worth buying and the price is great for such a big book.
