Sand Dollar Lane: A Novel (A Moonlight Harbor Novel Book 6)

I was hooked on Sheila Roberts books when I read The Nine Lives of Christmas. Her books are heart warming and a visual delight for the imagination. Her characters come to life in a modern depiction of real life as we know it. Sand Dollar Lane is a heart warming story of love both lost and found. I do not want to give it away but Sheila is able to make something that most of us would be pretty upset about into something that is rip roaring funny. She has a way with those words she writes that is clever and heart warming. By the time you finish this book you think the characters are your friends and neighbors. Three Cheers for Evan and Lucy and Sand Dollar Lane. And by the way, the recipes in her books are fabulous too. I think you are going to like it. I do not want to spill the beans, but the shower scene, OMG.

Doyle was in the dumps. Lucy finds he husband with their employee, in a house showing! The end for them and a shattering for her. Her escape leads to Moonlight Harbor, and the battle begins with Doyle! Watching Lucy and Hannah work together was so fun! The kids force them to make peace, and the bumpy ride ends at the wedding chapel! Enjoy the ride with them!

Another good read from Sheila Roberts from the Moonlight Harbor series. It started out a little slow compared to the first 5 books, but then it was good that I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this book especially if you read the first 5 books.

This is the latest book in this series.It is focused mainly on Brody and his life after being rejected. Also a new female character, Lucy who comes to town to set up a competing real estate office.It was great to read a continuance of this town’s activities and people!

Sheila Roberts is an amazing writer. Sand Dollar Lane is a must read book for this summer. She gets you on the first page and you never want to put down this book. You will want to move to this great beach town and be friends with everyone.. if you haven’t read this series Moonlight Harbor do yourself a favor start today. Sheila Roberts book make you laugh, cry and shake your head in understanding, all great elements for an enjoyable read.

I have really enjoyed this series of books and all the wonderful characters. I was always looking for the next one.

I thought this was supposed to be Brody’s story, and he was in it, but it really ended up being Lucy’s story. Which wasn’t a problem, necessarily, but Lucy was so unlikable I almost quit the book halfway through. And Brody started off whiny. I mean, if you know the series, you know he had good reason, BUT it affected his behavior with his friends, and his responses to Lucy, who was bitchy and offensive in her own right. So, this one was not one of the author’s best, imo. I finished it because it was the last of the series, but there wasn’t that satisfying sigh upon completion.

Winter or summer always enjoy, knowing we are in for a treat. We smile and laugh and sometimes cry but Im always happy that her books are always over 300 pages, sometimes things just take that long, like in real life, lol Thank you Sheila for another chapter of Moonlight Harbor where we would all love to live. Cant wait for book 7
