Extreme Max 5600.3102 Battery Quick Connect Plug for ATV / UTV Winches

I am very happy with this product! I used it in my jeep as a connector plug for the power/ground wires for my subwoofers amplifier. I can now use my sub while traveling to and from wherever I'm going to be camping and simply unplug the amp when it's time to lay the bed down in the back of the jeep. Before I bought this I had to either remove the sub all together and leave it at home or bring along the necessary tools to disconnect the amp every time which is a hassle. It really was the perfect solution to my unique situation and it was well worth the money. I couldn't find a plug with a large enough gauge at any local stereo shop or automotive store. The plug itself is built very well and is easy to set up. I would absolutely recommend this product.

This large gauge quick connect works great. I have a duck boat with a longtail mud motor on it and have to take the motor off every time I park it in the garage. I used to have to disconnect from the battery each time, which is a pain, but not anymore. The connection is solid and secure. The rubber endcaps work well for keeping debris out when not connected. I've noticed no drop in power when starting my motor with these in line versus a straight connection from motor to battery. I actually bought a second set and attached one end onto a 4 foot long chunk of wire and just stripped the other end to bare wire. That's for when I need to charge the battery, I just connect the short chunk to the one attached to the battery, connect the charger to the bare ends, and now I never even have to take the battery out at all.

Works as it should. No instructions made me question if I was installing the connectors correctly, however when they snapped in place it all made sense. I took the time to solder the wires in using a propane torch and had no problems with the wires coming out. as you can read from the reviews there are lots of different uses from this item. I used it for a disconnect on an outboard motor for the boat. Good quality, fits tightly, I would recommend to anyone looking for a disconnect.

These plugs are of good quality and the caps keep the dirt out. They hold together tightly and do not come apart until pulled apart.

The plugs seem sturdy and durable. The cap fits perfectly. The description says this fits 6-8 gauge wire. I had to cut 4-5 streams of a 6 gague wire to make it fit. It would be nice to get at least one extra metal wire plate with each package in case in case crimping the wire wasn't successful. A good product overall.
