Zefal Bag Z-Box

Basically, it's a hard plastic cylinder with a screw-on cap, so it's waterproof. Sweet. I bought the large size, which has a screw-in extender that goes in between the cap and the main body. This extender has a partition that screws in just above the threads that attach it to the main body. So, depending on preference, you can have an extra separate compartment, or just extend the main body storage space. It's simple, but clever. That said, I didn't end up needing the extender. Without it, the tube fits my spare 700c 32 tube, multitool and tube repair kit/tire removal tools with ease. Keys would also fit, maybe a small flip phone (the tube's diameter is just too small to fit my Galaxy S6), but not much more. For me, the size is pretty much perfect. It fits snugly into my water bottle cage, secure enough for road riding, but more aggressive off-road folks will probably want some velcro straps or the like to ensure it doesn't bounce free. EDIT: I've since eliminated my bike pump mount, and using the extender on the z-box (with the "floor" removed), it now holds all of the above, plus the bike pump! I love this thing!

This is a well built container that has a nice, wide opening in it for getting things in and out. I was actually surprised by how bit it was. Roughly the height of a 24 oz water bottle (including the valve). Since the cap of most water bottles are an inch or so lower than the top of the valve, I guess I wasn't quite prepared for how big this container really was. I ride a medium Salsa Cutthroat which has 2 water bottle holders on the inside of the down tube and 1 water bottle holder on the inside of the seat tube. This bottle will fit in either the lower down but holder or the seat tube holder but it is a very close fit. I use the bigger compartment to carry a spare inner tube for my bike (the tubes for a 2.2" tire are pretty big).

I flatted a while ago a few miles into a trail ride and had to take a sad, lonely walk to the nearest point where the wife could come pick me up. But I always have my gear with me...in my commuter bag. Whoops. So now I carry some emergency gear in one of my bottle holders with this. Honestly I hope I never need it but I'm glad to have it. Since the pictures here I've even added a mini-tool, on top of the mini-pump, tube, patch kit, scabs, and tire levers I have in there. So if I do flat again without my bag, or come across someone in a bind, there should be no problem. As long as it doesn't rattle all the way out of the holder, which has happened once or twice on bumpier rides, which is why it's 4 stars vs 5. But I like not having to carry this stuff in my bag anymore. I wish it was even a little bigger so I could cram some more stuff in there but I guess that would kind of defeat the point. As long as it stays where it is I'm happy with it.

Works great and holds a lot of gear. This fits perfectly into the water bottle cage of your bike and has saved me from stuffing my jersey pockets with stuff. There are 2 sections a small one on top and a larger one on the bottom. the 2 sections screw together and are water tight. You can put a tube, levers,Co2 etc in the lower and protein or gel in the top to keep them separate. if you find the Z-Box too big, you can remove the upper and just use the lower section.

Awesome storage option for an extra bottle cage. I was a little hesitant purchasing this one because I knew there was a divider between the top and bottom portions on the large size, that could restrict the lenght of items it can hold. However, the divider can be removed and stows away in the cap. I'm surprised they don't mention this in the description. Overall great design and good quality!

Get the large size for extra versatility. Use with or without the extender tube, which has a neat unscrewing 'floor' to form a separate compartment if you like. Secure top won't unscrew or fly off during a ride. Fits most bottle cages well, but check secure fit first before hitting rough roads. Easily fits a road tube, minitool, and CO2 inflator with room to spare for other stuff for those long rides. Much prefer this to a similar volume seat bag for storage. Will NOT fit typical smartphone, but then none of these bottle cage 'boxes' will.

I'm really happy with this. I bought the large version, just in case I need extra room in the future. I use it at the medium size, and everything I need fits inside, including my small pump. On my first ride with it, there was some rattling when I hit bumps, which I didn't like, so I put the small, loose stuff in an old sock, then into the container to keep things quiet. I usually only need one water bottle on my rides, so this works perfectly for me.

I own both sizes of this tool bottle. I needed the bigger one to hold all my crap. The bigger one is just the small one, plus an added topper that adds a second separate storage space. It is not one big long area to put things. Also the taller one feels like it could just pop its top in the wrong circumstances. It hasn't happened, and maybe I'm being too harsh, but I would only recommend purchasing the smaller one if you can make it work.

Works great. Fits my pump, tube, tool kit, patch kit, levers, med kit. I use the full length and have a strap on my cage to keep it snug.

Es un bote de plástico con bastante espacio para guardar cosas, la calidad es buena sin ser excelente tiene una parte chica para cosas pequeñas, y la parte de abajo para herramientas o lo que se necesite guardar, en la etiqueta dice que es resistente al agua, no la he probado en lluvia, tiene las mismas dimensiones de una botella de agua para bicicleta pues asi esta diseñada, de resistencia aun no lo se.
