Don't use a cloth to apply.
Pretty good product and nice smell. Tip: use the flat edge of a silicone spatula or silicone brush to spread over the board, then allow to soak in. When you use a cloth a lot of the oil gets absorbed into it and is wasted.

Citrusy
My better half decided that my old pre-marriage chopping board was in need of a bit of TLC and thus I was tasked with rectifying this problem on pain of intolerable suffering. Most husbands will experience this at some point and the fear of it is extreme...So, I bought this based upon price and other reviews. And, it's pretty good. It has the same mix as most food grade oils but has a citrus scent which is always welcome.Basically, just liberally apply the stuff - I used a rag balled up - liberally and then 24 hours later it's ready to go. Leaves a dull satin finish that's ideal for a chopping board. Overall, I'm very pleased with the result.

Nice for Conditioning Plastic Countertops
To my surprise, an experiment with this on my countertop turned out very well. It’s an old plastic type material. I cleared it, cleaned it, then put a coat of oil on overnight. I wiped off the excess the next morning and the countertop looked terrific AND HAS REMAINED SO for several days now! Much nicer to work on. Because the oil is food grade I don’t have to worry about chemicals. I used the excess on the paper towel to polish my knife handles and cutting boards and bread box. This oil is almost as good as Goo Gone for removing stickers so there’s an extra use for it. Smells very nice.

Great product, great customer service
Unfortunately mine arrive with a broken seal. For this reason I recommend making sure you order it in a way that ensures it will be the only item in the box. However, I've used it and love it. It works really well. Also the company sent me a whole kit with scrub brushes, soap and wax to make up for the leaky bottle and refunded me for the original purchase, AND they reached out to me to rectify this, not the other way around. Outstanding customer service!

Worth it!
This oil has a strong citrus smell (as you’d expect) straight from the bottle, but it goes very subtle once applied to the wood. It penetrates well and when applied with a rag, it goes a long way! It also brings out the grain of the beech I’m using beautifully and colours it well. The wood is hydrated and slightly fragrant and I love this!
