Cremation Urn for Ashes for Adults Funeral Burial Urns w/Satin Bag for Human Ashes (Black Tree of Life)

My husband of 57 yrs passed away recently and we, as a family, decided to have his body cremated. To hold his ashes I purchased this metal container with the "Tree of Life" embellished on the front. Our Morticians [very, very kind) aided us with filling the container. It is now on our fireplace mantle and I am very happy with this important purchase. Thank you. ~DWH

I love this Urn..Very Nice and Big

I ordered this urn for a member of my family who passed away. I searched Amazon and found some to consider. The reviews were very helpful in making my decision. That's why I decided for a change to give my review. It's not an expensive urn so I wouldn't be very critical of it but I think it is very nice for the price. It is definitely suitable for its purpose. For around $30 don't expect an engraved tree. Her ashes fit perfectly. The lid is very secure. I think it looks classy. It is everything as it was described. No surprises.

Didn't actually use this. The funeral home said they wouldn't take anyone elses jar for liability reasons and said I'd have to transfer them myself if I wanted to use this. Since all their urns were hundreds of $$$, I opted for the plastic box they give. The ashes are in a easily removable plastic bag in the box, so it's easy to transfer them, you don't need to pour them or anything. I never did transfer them though, just spread the ashes per the persons wishes.The jar is rather thin walled though, not super thin, but I thought it might be double layered which it's not. Threads on lid are also plastic, but sturdy I guess. It's cheap, but decent.

Humor is good for us. We sold the land where my 160 lb husband’s ashes were buried in a beautiful, expensive funeral home wooden box. We spent 2 weekends digging, since like Indiana Jones, we were digging in the wrong place. The box had disintegrated but the inner plastic bag held up. I bought this lovely urn & transferred ashes, with 3 cups left over. My sister suggested each Daughter get a cup of him. They declined.I’d bought an extra urn for me & figure I’ll need to lose 50 lbs, before I die, to fit. I’d be happy at 100 lbs.

I don’t want my kids ever spending a ton on my funeral. So I bought this for when the time comes, they can say NO to all the “frills” it is a nice item. Not heavy duty, but usually these things are not roughly handled 😜. It is light a slightly heavy coffee can with a screw down top. They will eventually spread my ashes somewhere so why spend $$$$$$$$$ on caskets or urns. Spend the money on yourselves. Mom

As described and fit my father who was 200lbs+. He is right to the top though so probably won't for 250lbs or more.I think you need to put the felt bag INSIDE the ern EMPTY and spread it open. THEN pour in your loved one a little at a time. That's what worked for me.

Funerals are very expensive. I didn't like any of the urns at the funeral home. This is light weight and the cross looks like a tattoo my son had. Thank you for a quality product to place my beloved son's ashes in.
