These leggings served as the perfect base layer, offering comfort, warmth, and versatility. To begin with, the sizing was spot-on, providing a snug fit that was comfortable throughout my outdoor and indoor activities. These leggings are impressively comfortable, and their breathability was a standout feature. They kept me warm and cozy in the Icelandic cold without causing any unwanted sweating. One of the remarkable aspects of these long johns is their versatility. Not only were they ideal for braving the chilly Icelandic weather, but they were equally comfortable and practical for indoor wear.In summary, DEVOPS Women's Thermal Long Johns exceeded my expectations as a winter base layer. I am writing review not for the quality because I just got them and don’t know how good they are but they seem good and cozy.I ordered two pairs of XL and received one XL and one L. don’t want to go through troubles of returning so I gave one to my daughter.

These are GREAT for long underwear.
I live and recreate for long hours outdoors in Duluth, Minnesota. I have liked Devops' tops as low-cost baselayers for a little while, but I hadn't gotten leggings yet. They work really well as a thin baselayer under tighter pants and add just a little bit of warmth. One of the best things about them is that they are smooth on the outside and fleecy on the inside. This means that work pants and other pants slide right over them, and they don't bunch up and get awkward under your slacks or your hiking pants. They have a low profile so they make it easy to layer in many different kinds of conditions. They are suitable for putting under your office slacks to add extra warmth, because they are thin and warm, but not too warm.To stay comfortable in outdoor excursions:I layer them under unlined hiking pants in 30 - 40 (f) degree weather.I layer them under fleece lined hiking pants 30 - 20ish.They also work well to add warmth on long bike rides in the 30 - 40 range, under a pair of fancy wind-blocking bike leggings. For anything under 20, or if the conditions are damp, I choose a merino layer instead. However, they also work well as the bottom layer in ultra cold conditions (10 and below.) In subzero conditions--we're talking Farenheit here-- these make a good first layer to put under a merino or other form of fleece midlayer. Then you'd put lined hiking pants or snowpants over that.Bottom line, I recommend these as probably the most versatile kind of base layer / long underwear that I have, and for the price they are incredibly useful. Both the tops and the bottoms. They don't move around much at the waist, and if I ever have that issue, I can just tuck my shirt in. I don't find them cheaply made, but even if I did, they've done their job and continue to do so.Don't get sparks on them tho. They WILL melt. Keep this stuff away from fire, kthxbai.

NOT THERMAL
If you are buying these under the impression that they will keep you warm, you are buying the wrong product. Sizing is inconsistent in that the red were too tight, and the black fit as expected. Very poor sewing as well, loose threads, seam missed in 2 places. I bought these as they were advertised as being thermal, they are not.
