Very easy to use. We bought this to train our bull terrier to be more gentle with her chiweenie brother. We started out with the beeping and then to the vibration. Now when she acts up (spinning and barking -sometimes biting things/ people in reach) we usually just have to beep her and she stops!

So I never have to use the shock button. The beep is the warning. If they continue to displayed stupid. I use the buzz, (which is a vibrate). Works perfectly! Keeps my little monsters in line.

So a friend told me about this collar.At first I thought it was cruel. I recently adopted a dog that would run out the door every time he had the chance and fight the neighborhood dogs. I Took him around the yard and when he got out of bounds I would beep and if needed shock. He is the best dog ever now. I never have to go past the beep.

I have never been a fan of shock collars. However, we adopted 2, strong willed, young male American Eskimo pups. We like to walk them without a leash on our 40 acre property. They generally are well-behaved, until a compelling scent or running deer distracts them into a dead run. We have only used the zap once on both - they only need a quick vibration to remember they need to stop and return. These collars worked perfectly for us.
