I cringed at paying $140 for a pot, but I wanted German-made. I am awed by the quality of this piece. It is truly heavy-duty, pours flawlessly (better than previous saucepans with spouts), and has a beautiful fit and finish.With its taller height and compact handle, it takes up little space in the cupboard, yet is the perfect size for one or two people. The handle doesn’t get hot and is so comfortable! I will never be satisfied with a standard saucepan handle again. I don’t know why every company doesn't adopt this shape.I am very happy that I bought this. It performs so well that it’s a pleasure to use, and it’s so durable that I will never need to worry about replacing it. Worth every penny!

Funny how an item as simple as a 2qt saucepan can be made into something so pleasing to use.This pan has slightly conical sides, a decent heft (without being a brick) and a comfortable handle which while made of stainless seems not to transmit much heat to the hands. Nice engineering.The bottom of the pan is thick and will distribute cooking heat quickly in a way that avoids hotspots and scorching. While expensive, it is something which you will be able to use daily and give to your children. Over time, not so expensive after all.These are the types of things I love to own--well-designed, beautifully crafted and designed to make doing simple jobs like warming milk or soup a pleasure.Well done.

Massiver Edelstahl, daher etwas mehr Gewicht. Sehr gut zu reinigen und die Wärmeleitung ist super. Da lohnt es sich, für mehr Qualität auch mehr Geld auszugeben.
