KING OA1001 OmniPro Portable Omnidirectional HDTV Over-the-Air Antenna with Mount - Black

Simple installation. Replaced my old Furrion Antenna , plug and play. Better reception and more channels. I haven't had it on the road yet but No leaks so far. (4 months in)

Really like the low profile and smooth design and finish of this unit. We didn't expect much so were pleasantly surprised at how many channels we can now pick up. Hoping that the black will fair better than the white in the Florida sun. This unit looks much better than our old directional rooftop unit. Recommend.

I've been wanting to replace the Mini-State HD View 360 rotating antenna that originally came on my Tiffin 2012 36LA. I'd been looking at a few different omnidirectional antennas. This one came recommended and the price was right so I figured I'd give it a shot. Now I wish I hadn't waiting so long to replace the old antenna. Installation was fairly easy. Since I didn't want to drill into my RV's roof I used the existing antenna supports. I fashioned a mounting plate out of acrylic and attached it to the mounts and I attached the antenna to the plate. A single coax connection and everything topside looked good. I kept the original booster but I have the King supplied booster that came with it if needed. I scanned the TV and was nothing short of impressed. The old antenna had never picked up so many channels. I'm about 20 miles south of DC and the antenna picked up Baltimore channels. They're a bit out of range to get a consistently clear picture but everything else came in nice and clear. The antenna picked up local channels that the old antenna never did. I enjoyed watching several different channels during the rain we had this weekend and I was thrilled that I didn't have to rotate the antenna to try and get a clear picture.

I bought this for the RV to replace the stock one. Unfortunately, it didn't pick up as many channels as the old one. I ultimately returned it.

Replaced the factory antenna with its defective booster with this new antenna. Installation was very easy using existing coax. Replaced the wall plate but discovered the new wall place made no provision for the FM radio. Installed the original wall plate and all is well. Works as expected. Roof installation was easy using the screws included. After cleaning off the old caulk, which was quite a job, I used a liberal amount of adhesive/caulk under the base. Looks good, no leaks, rescanned the TV with lots of channels received.

first the unit wasn't arception improvement over old antenna- second the companies idea of customer service is basically we'll call you tomorrow. i like that i no longer have to crank the antennae up and down. discovered late that the new antennae base would not cover the old antennae screw holes and had to order adapter plate which the literature neglects to tell you only covers their old style of base plate. Had to mount the plate backwards to cover all the holes which makes the coax come out the front which is not the best idea. a couple more inches of plastic on the adapter would likely solve all issues with any manufacturers product- not impressed with King

I have been searching for a omnidirectional antenna for our 5th wheel for years now, thought I would give this a shot. We have full timed RVing for 3 years now and It is no better than the bat wing antenna I had before. If I am in a city, the same reception as the bat wing except, cloudy, overcast or rainy weather I lose about 50% reception. I have tried 4 other antenna's and they all produce the same result or worse. Since we have cable internet we elected to get the basic, basic pick 15 from Spectrum at a cost of $25 a month so we can consistently get the local channels, we stream most everything else. Dont waste your money on a new antenna no matter what they say about it, they dont work and they are a ripoff!

I found this antenna a very easy install. It was harder taking the old antenna off the motor home than installing the new one . I also used the plate on the roof under the antenna.

Easy to connect, it works like it should, next step is to install it on my tv.

I use this on roof of my truck camper and it has been great for the 6 months I have had it. Friends who paid a lot more for fancy tv antennas are real impressed with my budget unit. Pretty easy to hook up for anyone.
