Fabulous and fun book
I was worried about buying the Kindle version as was thinking paper may be better as there are exercises to do, but i need not have worried ( I got the kindle one because i would have had to wait for the post otherwise at Christmas time !). The kindle version works fine as it gives links to the answers of each quiz that you can click on directly and then go back to where you were in the book.I love this little book. When I say little, it is not short of material but is in lovely short bites. I have been studying French for several years. I would not recommend to a beginner. I would say you need to have studied for at least two years unless you are very gifted. There are a lot of short exercises where you need to produce something yourself. For example there will be a photo which you have to describe . They give you some phrases to help.I really like this. Although my understanding of the language is immense having to write something yourself is another kettle of fish. This makes it very manageable. I love the fact that I can just take twenty minutes or half an hour out to complete something. It is entertaining and very informative. Good value i would say in the kindle edition.

Very useful book - makes use of free time to improve and practice French
As per the headline - well thought out exercises that can make your shortest breaks productive. The Youtube videos are excellent too.

Great for new intermediate level French learners
I’m a big fan of the podcasts and wanted to support them and bought this book. It’s jam packed with great exercises to practice both your vocabulary and understanding

Can’t recommend CB French enough
Before moving to France, I bought various books and downloaded all sorts of apps, guides, podcasts etc to aid my learning French, but nothing beats this method of learning for me. Prepared me well before moving, and continues to help me improve my French.

Brilliant resource
Been listening to CBF podcasts for over a year and was thrilled to hear they were releasing a book. It hasn’t disappointed - the exercises are brief but interesting, and challenge you while having answers and tips available for when you get stuck.

Excellent wee book
From the people who bring you Coffee Break website and podcasts etc, this first venture into the written word is a superb additional resource for the language learner. 5, 10 or 15 minute lessons/exercises are perfect for your coffee break. Love this book.

Not for me!
I regret my purchase - an impulsive purchase maybe. Couldn't even get past the first activity. The format is sort of old style text book tests and quizzes.I would suggest language learning has greatly moved on, and there is much more interesting and productive learning choices out there now.It will probably suit some people thoughBut for me (it's only my personal opion) it's an antiquated approach.
