i bought it for my nephew and he likes it, but we discovered that the tracks are too tight and make the front wheels come off the mountings if you follow the instruction manual. it needed 37 track pieces per side to fit but they will come off sometimes because it's loose. our tank came with 3 extra track pieces, this might be why GoPackGo said there were pieces missing. one good thing though is some lego technic parts fit this tank set but are loose.

The instructions are less than ideal. They can still be followed if you are experienced building with this kind of toy and following the major brands directions but the end result was a little underwhelming. Still an alright build and I'm sure I'll probably take it apart to turn into something else.

I dont do the checking, I just buy what my Son and Daughter claim to be what they want. They seemed quite confident that this is what my 8 yr. old grandson wanted. they did extensive research. I had something more expensive picked out. He is happy. done deal. YAY !

Beware! Missing pieces. Extremely disappointing and frustrating as we tried to build only to realize pieces were missing. It was for my son's 5th birthday present and he's now crying....

8 year old loves this! If it ever breaks, there are a ton of parts to go into the lego bin
