This guitar Rocks, don't let the Epiphone name scare you.
Wow, for the price I am super impressed with this guitar. The honey burst color is just amazing.. Like most people say the pictures do not do it justice. I've played on and off for about 30 years. Mainly just an acoustic the last 20. Long story but my electric got sold in a garage sale by mistake while I was out of town. Ugh, it was a very nice guitar which I won't even go into the details.. Lets just say someone got one hell of a deal...This guitar actually plays better than my original Gibson Les Paul.. (In fairness it was pretty beat up). The sound is incredible. Actually I was shocked.. The pickups are incredibly hot sounding.. The action was perfectly set up to my liking right from the factory with absolutely no fret buzz. Mine was still in it's factory shipping box with the P.O. attached on the box to amazon from Gibson. (They actually set these up at the Gibson Factory in the U.S. and they are inspected there). Again I can't stress enough how well this guitar sounds.. The sustain just goes on and on..The single coil option gives the guitar a whole new range of tones..I am truly amazed they have this guitar at this price. The Gibson Les Paul is about 3 or 4 times the cost.... Can you tell the difference.. Well, yeah... The purist and pro can but I would think even they would think twice about it.. For the beginner to the seasoned pro this guitar rocks.. Simply put Epiphone hit a home run with this guitar. I couldn't be happier..

Beautiful Guitar
I really love the guitar, perfectly built and very good sound, no issues and looks beautiful.Pickups give a very crisp and warm sound, maybe not exactly the same as a USA Gibson but not many people will notice a difference.Guitar came almost perfectly setup, just had to do minor intonation adjustments, action was really on the spot when it arrived. For the price is a very good option even if the guitar is a little heavy, some might find it too heavy. The only "problem" with it is that one of the knobs feels different when rotating compared to the other three, it is just a feel like little loose but works fine.

The guitar is beautiful, well made
The guitar is beautiful, well made, just as good if not better than any Gibson I own. The Pro Buckers are awesome, set up great right out of box. The slim profile neck is nice. Wanted a little lighter blue color. Amazon is so good on returns. Just return the item in the very same condition it arrived in. They probably have the best return policy of any company. Be good to them, they will be good to you. Thanks AMAZON, your the greatest.

Awesome guitar
Love this guitar. Bought it here over two years ago and it plays and sounds awesome. The neck feels great and the action was perfect right out of the box. Couldn't be happier with this guitar. This guitar isn't good for the price, it's a good guitar period. I have a 91 Gibson Les Paul and this one is right up there with it.

Good Guitar, looks great!
Very pleased with this Guitar. I had to slightly tweak the setup and clean up the neck a bit...the black dye on the fretboard kept coming off onto my fingers so worked on cleaning that up. This has that signature tone everyone is looking for at a quarter of the price of the Gibson. I don't care if the maple top is just a thin veneer, it looks great! The body is one of the heavier guitars in my collection and the sustain lasts a very long time. Good Times!

Sounds fantastic. Great fat tone
I've had mine for about a month now. Had it professionally set up. Sounds fantastic. Great fat tone, Coil tapping is nice to get that bright sound more like a strat. Fantastic sustain. The only complaint I have is the two tone knobs don't sit perfectly aligned to the body. They look wobbly, though if you pop them off and place them on a flat surface they are perfectly flat on the bottom. It's the positioning of the knobs in the holes is not perfect. I don't really notice it anymore though. Unbelievably great sound out of the guitar.
