Might have an installation problem
The unit was the recommended part number for my fireplace. It may be that I have an older fireplace but the mounting holes (the little tabs in the picture) were not the same as the original pilot. The were a little small and not centered to the studs. It wasn't a big deal for me to drill out the holes to a larger size and make it fit. I have the tools and know how to use them. Other than that, it looked identical to the original and has worked great so far.

Did not fit right, did not work.
Even though it was listed for the model gas logs I have, the screw holes were too small to mount it, and it did not work.
