Great stereo system with some drawbacks
I have this system for about a month and, overall, I think it is a very good system. It has a very good (for my ears) sound quality, supports a lot of sources and audio formats and has a decent build quality. The things that I don't like about this system:- It takes approx. 7 seconds for the system to be become operational after I turn it on - it is a noticeable delay and it is annoying.- The CD tray (I listen to CDs a lot) doesn't go all the way out when opened (see the attached photo). Because of it, inserting and removing CD is inconvenient.- The display is a single-line with big letters (see the attached photo) - it becomes a problem when you need to browse USB drive with music files, for example. Even when listening to CD, I need to change display mode with a button to see more details about the current song (e.g. track number).- Most buttons are available only on remote, not on the unit itself.- For me, it was a very frustrating experience to connect this unit to my home Wi-Fi - you need to install Google Home app on your phone/tablet, go through many steps, etc. Generally it was very cumbersome (at least in my opinion).- Bluetooth: no support of latest and/or lossless codecs. The only supported codecs are AAC (for Apple devices) and SBC, which are lossy and not very modern. Bluetooth version: 4.2 (Bluetooth 5 was released at December 2016). Also, Bluetooth is receiver only, e.g. you cannot connect Bluetooth headphones to this system.- The remote has no backlight (at this price point I think it is a reasonable expectation).- Only one file format is supported for playback from CD-R: MP3. I think it is limiting. On the other hand, USB drive input supports multiple formats (incl. hi-res).- No recording to USB drive. It is read-only.- The CD gets noticeably hot when played (hotter comparing to other players that I own) - I suspect it shortens the CD life span if the CD is played frequently.- No CD-Text support.- No Line-out, so recording to external device is not supported.Again, despite all those things I do enjoy using the system and have no regrets buying it.

... one big noise from one small machine ....
Who would have thought that one big noise would come from one small machine, pin sharp quality both on CD and Radio, easy to use, what more can I say .... A PROPER CD PLAYER AND TUNER, if you are looking for a better quality of sound then you will be looking at a very different price bracket ... could not be happier ...!!!

Great little unit.
Good sound quality with ample adjustment to taste. Main unit and speakers look good and take up minimal space.Easy to set up and use with good instructions manual. Comes with easy to use remote control.Needed an external aerial but that’s because of my location. Works perfectly at little extra cost.

Pants. Get the cheaper version.
Nowhere near as loud as it says on the tin. Very disappointed. Back to my Phillips broken cd player. Bluetooth better. Louder though not supposed to be.

Good sound quality
Good sound quality. Build quality is fine and looks good in sitting room. Display is too small and needs to be looked at horizontally to see clearly. The instruction manual is confusing and difficult to understand. The remote needs to be used and the main controls together during set up. Overall I like it but it could easily have been more user friendly for the money.
