I am such a fan of the Fresh Wave Fresh Pod Odor Remover. I keep one of these on the inside of every trash can in our house, and it keeps even the strongest odors at bay. The pod holder has a dual stick adhesive that can easily stick on any surface, and can be removed when necessary without causing damage. It is also refillable, so once your pods odor removing super powers loose their luster, you can quick snap a new odor removing pack in.I recently spilled pickle juice, and unfortunately while I thought I cleaned it all out, is got into the produce drawer and caused quite the fridge fermentation. After pulling everything out and giving the fridge a deep clean, the odor still persisted. I left one of these in overnight and the smell was gone the next morning.I will also use these in my car to refresh the scent. I am pretty sensitive to scent. So, while care air fresheners can be overpowering and ultimately try to mask the stench these seem to remove the scent and leave a light freshness without being overpowering.

Love these. buying 2 more. Put one in the top of a garbage pail where I toss cleaning rags and dish cloths and towels…. completely removed musty smelly odors.Also put one in my clothes closet to keep it fresh smelling. it’s not perfume which I love and packets last quite a while. the price of refills make this a very cost efficient option

I’ve used the scent beads before, like the ones you’d leave in the closet and loved it. Thought to try this for a stinky trash can. It doesn’t stay on the lid. The top constantly opens up and then it drops the beads into the trash and then I’d have to use a new one, no matter what I do. I’ve tried tapping it shut to see if it can just hold (thinking it’s just the clasp) but the two pack I got - both of them do it. So if it’s for another use where you won’t be opening and closing often then I’m sure it’s fine. But it was advertised to help with a stinky trash smell and it doesn’t stay so it’s pointless IMO. the scent itself is lovely and light (original) and when it worked for the first 10 mins i couldn’t smell the trash.

Needs better glue

I loved the product but the tape that it comes with it doesn't help to keep it attached to the garbage can lid.

More annoying than useful. I tried to use one on my trashcan and one on my diaper pail, but they both would always pop open and dump. The included sent baggie in the trash. I tried different ways of securing them closed (eventually landed on heavy-duty tape just on the place where it pops open to replace the inside), which only kind of worked. The most annoying thing is that it always pops up on my diaper pail, making the lid not close all the way - I feel like I have to mess with it almost every time I open and close the diaper pail. Definitely more trouble than it’s worth.
