In Flanders Fields: 100 Years: Writing on War, Loss and Rememberance Hardcover – Illustrated, 28 September 2015

I gifted this book to my 92 year old Mom who loves poppies and can still recite the poem " in Flanders Fields". She loved it as it has quite an extensive history regarding the poet John McCrae and his time during WW1. Each chapter is a commentary written by other authors and historians regarding the meaning of the poem or remembrances of people who have visited the site. It also includes a few photos.

Bought for a friend who is military. She loved it.

Bought as present for my father and he enjoyed it very much. Beautiful cover.

A beautiful book, one that Americans ought to read. How much we have forgotten the trauma. pain and death of WWI!
