Premium 6-in-1 3M Protective Skin Decals for 2021~2023+ MacBook Pro 16.2-inch 16" M1 M2 M3(Model: A2485/A2780/A2991) with 2 Pack Screen Protector-Gray

I have ordered name brand skins before and was never super happy with the fitment and look of them. It was always something I put on to keep it looking clean and to cover up the few scratches it has. Stumbled upon this the other night and it was an immediate buy for me. My MBP is Space Gray and the color matching is almost identical. Be careful when applying it because the 3M is VERY ADHESIVE and you will cause it to stretch (especially around the logo) if you have to remove and reapply. Overall, I am beyond impressed with the quality, looks, and price of this product. Time will tell to see how it does against scratches and wear but I think it will do a great job at keeping the MacBook case scratch-free.

The top cover even came with the Apple logo cut out (picture does not show the cut out). The 3M material is easy to install as usual.

I've owned plenty of MacBooks and I put skins on them all. This skin is one of the best all around kits I've used to-date. It includes skins for the outside (top/bottom; no edges), inside (around the keyboard deck), and even a screen protector. My 2016 15" MBP was my only screen to get scratches in the anti-reflective coating due to the keyboard pressing up against it during transport. Since then, I will not carry my Macs anywhere without a screen protector. I'm super anal about scratches, wear, and tear. The anti-glare coating is a flaw in my opinion due to it wearing off... recurring issue with many Apple products, just like the keyboard issues.Anyhow, I digress. My main point is this is a great skin decal kit and will get you the full protection you need to ward off minor wear and tear your Macbook will experience from handling in daily use.The 15" was a tad bit of a challenge to install due to the surface area (I'm use to having the 12-13" sizes), but the adhesive is very forgiving and easy to work any bubbles out.The only negative is the thin walls around the speaker grills. I cut the walls out. Hard to explain, but I'm sure you'll understand what I'm talking about if you go to install the kit.I'd recommend this 100% to any of my friends and family.

My main purpose is to buy the top and back cover, but this package is very good to include all. First, the top and bottom is perfectly fit. My wife can't see the difference after I put them on. An it's not too difficult to align and put on. really perfect.In fact I have tried to put on the skin for the inside as well as the trackpad. Again, it's easy and fit perfectly. But it's just my personal preference to feel the actual touch of the macbook, I have peeled them off. But believe me, it's really good indeed. About screen protector, in fact again it's good, but my home is too dusty, i tried many time to remove the dust, but everytime I removed a few, some others went in. So i didn't put it on again. But to be fair, the quality is good, just my fatty fingers can't do it well. (but even with my clumsy hand, I can still put the skin of the cover on!)

I want to find something to protect the MacBook. Compare to complete case, they make the laptop much thicker and something could have small object get stuck between the case and scratch the laptop. So, I decide to give a skin decals a go.Pro: The color match between the decal and is a good 3M material, if you do mess it up, just pull up slowly and reapply. It is cheaper than the dbrand if you just want a basic skin.Con: instruction is awful. There is no masking paper apply to decal (a thin film apply on top and help installation easier). The thing might bug me the most is they cutout a box for you to show MacBook Pro at bottom. There is no reason showing the text, cover it up and make it even and clean looking.Over all, good material and it do look nice when it is installed. I just find out there should be screen protector that is missing from the package?? Time to test the customer service...

First off, READ everything so you understand what's what and secondly GO SLOW and clean everything VERY well so you don't get dust, pet hair etc trapped underneath. I can't stress doing this in a clean air environment or simply washing it well and letting it set and they use mouth to blow lightly any dust that landed back onto the surface.I peeled the entire backing off of each item because pulling the adhesive backing is a bit tricky when it's also partially stuck to the surface, just make sure to pull slow and evenly and not to CREASE the protectors. It sounds a bit scary but it's not at all, just GO SLOW. I did and took 20 mins for everything from cleaning to dust free and adhesion.I didn't use the trackpad cover at all as I like the trackpad nice and smooth and not to have a "texture" which it will but it's a nice texture too, just not for me. when you do the LCD screen part, clean the hell out of the screen and fully dry it, let it sit for a couple mins and then use the dry smooth pad to remove any fingerprints you don't want trapped underneath, THEN spray it with warm water so it moves freely easily, this helped immensely in alignment for this LCD cover installation part so I could move the whole thing around to get it perfect. DO NOT use this on the 3M other pieces, they have adhesive and water won't help it and make it harder to install but apply it VERY loosely at first because you may have to VERY slowly pull it back up a little bit to align it. It's VERY tight and exact fitting which is awesome but it's easy to have some hang over the edges too so you will have to adjust it a bit, so take your time and get it stuck on loosely and slowly rub your hands to finish the install and also making sure it's aligned before pushing too hard so it'll come back up easily of you have to make adjustments. once happy smooth it out by hand all over and make sure nothing is hanging over the edge or it WILL catch on something and peel up. The bottom and top outer parts are the easiest just make sure everything lines up and then go back after any adjustments to rub a bit harder so it adheres down all the way but leave it kinda loose the first time just in case so it peels back up easily for adjusting.Ity all sounds harder than it is but the key is to leave everything loose until happy and all air bubbles or dust is off THEN rub it all down hard using the dry cloth provided (on the screen especially so you don't fingerprint it all up)This is cut so precise you just have to take it slow but you can get an absolute PERFECT fit if you take your time. I HATE installing this stuff and I got mine 100% even first try with no adjusting needed but I took my time and went very slowly too.The worst part for me was the little dust particle that got behind the lcd screen piece so put that on evenly and lightly and use the little dust sticker provided to "tap" on that little particle if you see it then smooth everything down or you'll see it trapped under there for life and it could drive you nuts depending on you OCD lol.That it, just GO SLOW, PREP and CLEAN? very well and you'll have zero issues installing these parts. Again, mine took literally 20-30 mins if that, more like 20 after I cleaned everything VERY nicely on my new 2018 Air. Hold it to the light sideways to see if you have fingerprints too. I had several I couldn't see straight on, then apply with the screen off so you can see bubbles and stuff under the screen if any and get them out before pressing it on tight.The ONLY complaint or CON I have is that, while this covering 3M material is thin, my clamshell bottom tabs BARELY snap once this cover is on, the tabs were already very tight and the 1mm material adds just enought to where the bottom clamshell case doesn't quite snap on like it used to before unless I REALLY push on them so I might just take the case off, but I don't want to mar the new covering either even though that's what it's meant for. I also got the silver color for my space grey machine so it has a 2-tone look which is kinda cool. I had one weird issue I worked with the manufacturer with, my laptop (Air Retina) got hot and it peeled up a tiny bit in the bottom side and because the heat stretched it a bit I couldn't get it to stick back down without a crease forming. It's VERY small and usually heat only makes these stick even better so I had some kind of weird fluke but definitely NOT gouging this product or the seller. They are AWESOME!!! Just be VERY slow going and take your time and smooth it out as you go and peel back the backing a bit at a time as you go. The key is to get it started as straight as you possibly can so as you go it'll all fall into place perfectly. I got mine 99.9% perfect on the the first try. Clean the hell out of your surface area and let it dry completely and have the little dust removal sticky piece ready so you can remove any little particle that gets underneath. You can pull the shield back a tiny bit to do this if you notice a piece of duty or a pet hair etc so that's why you do tiny parts at a time. If you follow this it'll look amazing after you're done. DO NOT USE A CLAMSHELL or other hard case on this afterwards. It's too thick and you'll scratch it all up and the tabs of the clamshell won't fit around the laptop and the shield both. This is intended to replace having to use a clamshell.

Hello ,I bought this product for my new MacBook Pro 16 inches but I wasn’t sure how it fits to the macbook and whether it adds a thickness i had doubts!!But , its superb after adding the skin to the macbook its hardly you can recognise there is a skin to it !! So nice fit and definitely it protects macbook from scratches!!Only thing is be patient while putting the skinTake time and add the skin . Its just nice . No need to worry about now be relaxed 😎 we Quality of the skin is great from 3M.Definitely its cheaper price than other competitors like DBrand !!!!!!!

This is a totally amazing product... it fit perfectly on my macbook pro 15" 2017 ... it basically doesn't even look like it is on! Love it :)

Super light weight but durable covering that does not weigh down the laptop hinge. I am confident that this skin will prevent many scratches and dents.

This fits perfectly on my MacBook Pro but I just find the screen protector very thin and fragile.

one of the pieces are coming off a bit already after 2 days and there is a bit of a pattern to skin which I wasn't expecting. Everything else is great.
