Solid advice, good examples
Gregory Austin has a produced a great resource for anyone looking to make their resume stand out among other candidates. Updating your resume can be a daunting task -- what do you include, exclude, highlight etc? How do you best format the doc to get past automated Applicant Tracking Systems that most larger recruiters and HR teams use to filter incoming applications? This book will give you tactical advice and examples of how and why you need to put some quality time into your resume. Once you create that master doc, it's used as the starting point to modify a version every time you apply for a job. You tailor your skills and accomplishments to match the job description you are applying for, without exaggerating or false info of course.

Excellent Resource!
I've been asked to help a few family members update their resumes. I decided I needed more help than my own experiences so looked on LinkedIn for a good resource. This book popped up and it has proven to be an invaluable resource. I am only sorry I didn't look for it sooner. But now I am working on another resume and I am so much the wiser after reading this book. It was an easy read, very concise and excellent tips and pointers. I am retired so I have the time to do the extra research - and I have already helped get their LinkedIn profile updated.

I appreciate the author's ability to keep things simple for the reader as well as his insights based on his personal experience reviewing thousands of resumes.

These nuggets can get you more interviews
If you're serious about building your resume in a way that will attract interest, then you should read this book. It's full of nuggets every job seeker needs. As a former engineering recruiter myself, I know what recruiters and hiring managers are typically looking for, and that's what Greg gives you here. He's a recruiter too, so he knows what he's talking about. He tells you what he likes...and what frustrates him. His honesty, if applied, will get you more interviews.
