Very cool that it’s double sided for legos and duplos but what should be added in the description is the the DUPLO side works beautifully with mega blocks, for which it’s practically impossible to find a baseplate for, and when you do it’s not cheap but it’s small. I’m so happy with this product well worth the price! We’ll use it for so many years, just wish it covered the whole table but maybe in the future when we get into lego phase we’ll get one more set. I was worried they would be flimsy and easy to break by a 3 year old but they seem pretty sturdy and not bendy at all, while I cleaned off the table to put the plates on my kid already was holding one on top of his head and it didn’t look like it was in any danger of snapping like I was imagining. Obviously I won’t be testing this much further but I was worried they would be broken in shipping and they were packed very well so that was awesome too. Another plus is they are made in the USA 🇺🇸 So it just brings me even more joy to support the company. Thank you for your quality products 🙏 we look forward to growing with them 💙

I’ve had several of these across multiple kids they all look brand new and the best part is that because they are double-sided they work for both Duplo and Lego. They also are big enough that it really creates I need canvas for the kids to do stuff

I ordered a set of two green and two blue mats for a homemade Lego table I made for my son. I checked prices on the square lego mats made by Lego, and it would have been much more expensive to cover my table. Not to mention there would have been a lot more seems between the mats.Be aware that these mats have a traditional lego type service on one side, and a Duplo type service on the other. I have no use for the Duplo side, so this was actually a disadvantage for me as I attempted to glue the Duplo side down to my table.The Nilo block mats work very well with Legos and Megabloks. I have not tried the Duplo side, but it appears as though it would also work well. Be aware that these mats are made with much thicker plastic than a standard Lego mat, which is good from a quality perspective, but makes it much more difficult to cut them if needed. Scissors will not work! I used a utility knife with a brand new blade and a lot of pressure applied, and it was difficult but not impossible.I actually found these mats on the Nilo website for a lot less money, but the prices went up before I could place my order, making Amazon the better deal. Seems as their supply got low, the price went up. Shipping was not free at Nilo, however, even with shipping they would have been less expensive than the price listed at Amazon with free shipping. It would be worth your while to take a quick look on the Nilo website to check the price before you order.

Star Wars and Ninjago battles galore. We have the green ones too. Will probably buy more when they expand their settings.

These are fabulous and four of them are supposed to fit onto a Nilo Block table top -- unfortunately, I have a 1/8th to 1/4" too long table for some reason, though it fits their train scene mat perfectly this annoying long slit means my kids keep losing tiny lego lights, and those eensie weensie pieces into that gap at the end. am looking for something to block that little gap -- but otherwise the mats are amazing quality and the table and block mat combo is a perfect way to corral the pieces. BTW I have had over 10 yrs of use of their table and its as sturdy as ever, added a tall leg to the table and it will see my youngest into their double digit ages after serving my teen and them as a brio/thomas train table. The corners are fragile esp since they are not rounded like the duplo mats from LEGO so don't advice a mobile use for them. Alternate striped with the blue and gray mats so that if they are sharing the table with buddies, they have demarked spaces to build. Saw purpose built shelves on Pinterest topped with these to display legos.

I love these mats/baseplates. Now that Lego no longer carries the blue base plate, and quality issues have been reported with the new baseplates they do carry, I am buying even more of the Nilo mats. I have always preferred the Nilo quality. Nilo is the ONLY company making a Lego compatible product, that I prefer over actual Lego.My Favorite things about these mats are:- Strength, they are thicker and stronger than the Lego baseplates- Color, Lego no longer sells a blue baseplate, and their new green baseplate is the brighter green not the older green- Duplo side has dots that have the center indention (as Lego does with their Duplo regular plates, but not with their baseplates). This allows one to connect Lego bricks directly to the mat, without having to put the Duplo pieces in between the mat and the Lego pieces.The only things that I don't like about these mats is- Lego side has an odd dot count. This makes some centering more of a challenge.- Excess edging prevents ideal alignment of multiple mats. (This is only an issue length wise, not width wise).

We got these to fit on top of one of the Nilo play tables (the one that fits four lego mats). Our son is just over 2 years old, and got the table this last Christmas. He has a sizable Lego Duplo collection; all of the Duplo legos fit perfect on these mats, and the mats fit perfect on the table. The other side of the mat is sized for the regular legos. I can't say how well it will fit them, but given that it does so well with Duplos, I'm sure it will be great when we graduate up to the little legos in a few years. Just fyi, it takes four of these mats to fit the play table we have. Nilo also makes a half size table that would only need two of these, but if you have the room, I think the full size table is worth getting - it is a perfect play table - just the right size table top, just the right height, and very well made to last for years and years.

I love these baseplates! The only negative aspect is the packing by Amazon; it was awful!! Fortunately, Nilo does an excellent package!
