A great storyteller and creative story for all ages
This small, short story took my breath away! Lovely book of love, hope and culture. And like a tre Shakespearean tale, the end is heartbreaking

Quite enjoyable read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I guess you could say I "got" it and thus wasn't disturbed by the final chapters. They made sense to me and were quite beautiful in fact. It's a slim book. Get it and read it for yourself. Make your own decision.I found the movie as a download and watched it first. That's what led me to the book. The movie was pretty well done considering what it had to portray visually. The book filled in some of the "poetry" that the movie couldn't quite present.Overall, I just loved the sense of "mentoring" that is presented in this story. Such mentoring of boys seems quite uncommon these days so it is all the more enjoyable when it does show up.

Outstanding!!!
Outstanding book by a great author. I really enjoyed Copper Woman and Dzelarhones. This book really touches the issues of those challenged by being different.
