I’ve had this little vac 9 months now and it is the best I’ve ever owned (and I’m in my 60s). It picks up all pet hair and debris like a champ! Works on rugs and bare floors equally well, no switching anything required. The charge holds long enough for me to do most of my house. It empties easily and I’ve never changed any filters. Truly lightweight and powerful!

Great cordless vacuum, efficient, light weight, easy to use and clean. Love the headlights, and you thought the floors were clean. Battery life is around the 45 minutes, I go 30 minutes in my single wide mobile home and it really does the job. Now I have no pets, but my place is a dust magnet, and I track outside to inside, gets it all. If you love the Dustbuster, you will diffenitly love this guy, oh it breaks down too.

I wouldn't recommend this as a main vacuum for a house. For a 2 bedroom apartment though, very solid. If you have a huge area to clean, you're going to want a bigger vacuum but this is great for getting tight corners and it's really nice for hardwood. Great for the stairs as well. If you have a house and just want something for stairs and tight corners or quick picks ups, this will be a great addition to your main vacuum. If you just have an apt. and sick of the cord like I was, this is great as a main vacuum. It doesn't last that long. For everyday cleaning, it's not a worry. For doing deep cleanings you might run out towards the end of the job but it still last a good 35-45mins depending on the power setting you use. It has 2 settings, 1 low 1 high. The low settings can really only be used for hardwood, it's pretty weak on low but can pick up things that aren't deep into the carpet. High settings is what you'll be using most of the time and it last about 30-35mins on high. Should be enough time for most apts. Also, the amount it can hold is pretty low. You will have to stop and empty at least once when doing a full cleaning but it's not terrible by any means. In my 2 bedroom I have to empty it at least one time when doing a full cleaning but that's it. Not a big deal and super easy to empty. TLDR: Great additional vacuum to your main one if you own a big house. Great main vacuum if you're sick of the cords in an apt. I'm using it in a 2 bedroom, 2 story apt and it's perfect.

I was wary about the charge and whether I could use this instead of our busted regular house plug-in vacuum cleaner. The answer? It is if you have a small home. I'm at 1250sq/ft, fully carpeted aside from the kitchen and bathrooms. We have regular carpet, not shag but if you have shag carpeting, you have other issues altogether, lol. This thing is lightweight and has as much power as a regular vacuum. It will use high power for most of the time which lasts about 15-17 minutes, just enough to clean the whole house. The one really awesome feature is that you can go virtually parallel to the floor to clean all the way underneath couches and such that have a 3-4" height above the carpet. It does take several hours to fully charge but I can't think of situation where this would negatively impact me unless I had a medium to large size home. If you do, this product is not for you, unless you have mostly hard surfaces where it will use low power. This reflects most of the reviews, I just wanted to point out that this will work for you if you have a smaller home...and work very well. I haven't even tried the hand-vac but I can only imagine my review would be even better. We love this thing!

I fell in love with this super portable, quick sucking vacuum around my house. It worked well to detect the floor vs carpet as well as when I used it to clean the couch. It’’s not heavy so for most people it’s easy to propel around the house when you need to quickly vacuum and be on your way. Literally at the one year mark the light on the brush head quit working which wasn’t much of an issue but it no longer showed all the smaller dust and hairs it was picking up when the light quit working. Then, a month after that the brush roll quit working entirely. I pulled it out, cleaned it, popped it back in… nothing. I tried to repair it several times and troubleshoot it to see if something was missing or a piece wasn’t connected but no. I would have given this 5-stars if it worked at least two years to make it money very well spent. I contacted customer service and they’re impossible to get in touch with (even through Amazon and Black+Decker separate links and phone numbers) since the warranty is for 2-years, well within range. A lot of times we are offered warranties but when things go wrong no one is to be found and you end up not being able to utilize your warranty anyway. Very frustrating. I found a service center and was able to get a replacement but the vacuum they sent as a replacement was likely refurbished and it broke just shy of 2 months barely using it. I took it back down and the service rep said the roller failed. A replacement was sent out to me but I was sent the wrong size. Even with a warranty, the frustration of owning a product that takes so much time out of my day to fix, contact customer service, drive to a service location, wait for replacement parts, and still deal with ongoing issues, I will NOT recommend this product and would never consider buying it again. Once the warranty is up I will toss it out the next time it breaks and try another brand. Hopefully one with less headaches. FYI - the “tangle free brush roll” is the reason for both vacuums not working properly. I have long hair and it kept getting tangled in the brush. I had to cut the hair out several times. Now I vacuum with the roll off, then put the roll back in and vacuum again.

There was no way I was going to pay $500+ for a stick vacuum, so I got this. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for it and was on the fence, however, I've grown to like it. Part of the hesitation was not being able to clean hair and dust out of the bristles, but I recently discovered the entire brush head pops out (pictured) for easily cleaning! It took my 2.5/5 rating to a 4/5. The reasons it isn't a 5 are: 1. Battery life isn't very long and 2. It struggles with thick carpet/rugs. We have one room and two sets of stairs with carpet and one thick shaggy rug. The rest is hardwood. The vacuum automatically detects a change in flooring and adjusts the suction accordingly, however, because the "neck" is floppy, it struggles to move forward on the rug. I have to pull the vacuum toward me, instead of pushing forward. That's the only way to smoothly vacuum without fighting the machine. The bedroom carpet and stairs are fine to vacuum as normal. On average, with a full charge, the battery lasts about 30 mins total before dying. I habitually brush my hair outside because I don't like hair everywhere, but this thing still finds all the loose hair around the house, which is great, but gross to have to clean off the bristles. Anyway, I probably would opt to spend a little more next time to buy a ryobi or hart stick vacuum with a rechargeable battery pack I use for my tools. But the features of being able to remove the brush for cleaning, the ability to detach the top part into a handheld vac, and the ability to hang it on the wall (separate product, reviewed separately), make it a worth while purchase.

Had it for 5 or so months now, my place is all hardwood or vinyl hard floors. 2 suction options, high and low essentially, it auto senses to go to high when moving from hard floor onto an area rug / yoga mat. Its very maneuverable, lightweight, and the front headlight is a nice feature. Its fairly thin so it gets under my couch nicely. Suction is fine, be sure to empty the can or it will reduce its power. Sometimes it does seem to push things I think it should pick up. Easy to put together and take apart. It stands on its own and when locked has never fallen on me, I generally don't even keep it against the wall. It does not scratch my floors. My biggest issue is the battery life. I vacuum something like 1000 sq ft when accounting for furniture and stuff and it generally needs a charge to finish a final bedroom or bathroom. It is also a very slow charger, like several hours. I dont have much carpet so if you are using high suction you may only be able to get in a few rooms. Overall, for hard floors, its probably worth the ~$100 I paid for it since I could take my family to McDonald's twice for that price in this day and age. I haven't seen an option for a second battery pack, but if there is I would recommend to get it. Given amazon's easy return policy I'd give it a shot but wouldn't brag to my friends about it. This is also my only ever amazon review that I ever recall doing because I know how annoying it was trying to find a vacuum and I did send back a couple others that weren't cutting it.

I'm really glad I bought this cordless stick vac. The price is excellent, you can't find a better price. I used to sweep my floors with an angled broom every day, but I could see that it was stirring up dust and it would land on my kitchen chairs and other places. When I started using this vacuum, because it has such a powerful light on the bottom, I could see everything that I missed from sweeping (Yikes!). Now I use this every day and it has made a big improvement on my floors and I imagine it's improved the air quality, because it's not just stirring up dust. There is plenty of dirt in the cup when I'm finished, so it's doing its job very well. It has very good suction and the beater bar is designed so that it doesn't get hair all wrapped around it, like other beater bars. The cup is easy to remove and clean, so is the filter that goes in the cup, you just need to give it sufficient time to dry. I do have some difficulty getting the cup to snap back into place when I put it back on. I don't know if it's me, but I have a little difficulty with it. This vacuum also has very good maneuverability, especially so not having a cord. It's lightweight and it's great for floors and low pile carpeting. It has two speeds and it transitions from floors to carpet effortlessly, but I don't think it would be quite as good on thick or dense carpeting. The only thing I don't care for in this vacuum is that you can't replace the battery. I hope it will last a few years before the battery goes. Other than that, it's a great vacuum. Oops! I forgot to mention the battery. The handle has three indicator lights on the front of the handle and each bar will start flashing as battery power gets lower and lower. It does take several hours to fully charge. The bars will continue to flash and once it's fully charged, the lights go off. If you use the vac on low you could probably use it for 40 minutes. On high, I get about 15 to 20 minutes max out of it, but that's enough to vacuum all of my hard floors. Yes, it is a bit loud, but in order to have good suction with a cordless vac, you have to have a powerful motor. You can buy an inexpensive package of foam ear plugs to use while you vacuum. Quick update: still love this vacuum. At first, I had trouble putting back the filter cup, which by the way is completely washable. I realized the best way to put it on is to stand next to it. I was kneeling down and it didn't work, standing next to it and putting it on is actually very easy. I love this vacuum! I would definitely buy it again.

Lasted about 15-20 mins using at higher suction. (I filled two containers in my one bedroom apt before it needed more charging.) Super powerful and excellent for cleaning pet hair and dust from carpet. (I just hand scrubbed it with a pet hair removal mitt, and this put it to shame.) The light is very useful for proper cleaning. The sensor that changes suction from tile to carpet is great. It’s also easy to reach under furniture, clean the parts, and manipulate around furniture/corners/etc.

This vacuum is great. Light weight, strong suction, easy to clean the dust holder..there is a light attached to the vacuum head which helps to see the dust on the floor when vacuuming. We have animals and the vacuum really takes up the hair very well. I would recommend purchasing thus product

Compré esta aspiradora para el uso diario en casa y la verdad me sorprendió lo bien que funciona. Es ligera, fácil de maniobrar y las luces LED en el piso ayudan mucho a detectar el polvo, especialmente debajo de muebles. La batería de 16V tiene buena duración si haces limpiezas rápidas por zonas, y el hecho de que sea multisuperficie (piso duro, alfombra ligera, tapetes) la hace muy versátil. No reemplaza una aspiradora industrial, pero para mantener limpio el día a día es excelente. Fácil de vaciar, fácil de guardar, y además se ve moderna con el diseño blanco. Totalmente recomendada si buscas algo práctico y sin cables.

Es una aspiradora potente, la carga dura como media hora o un poco mas, dependiendo de la fuerza que selecciones, es fácil de usar y de vaciar, recoge muy bien pelo de mascotas y hasta polvo, su carga es lenta como de tres horas pero para mi es excelente, ligera y de muy buen material, la recomiendo mucho.
