Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation, Make-Up, Waterproof Liquid with Pipette, Face Make-Up, 3 x 30 ml, No. 005 Ivory Beige

Bought this as I am desperado for coverage but can't afford the likes of E.L, Double Wear. After trying about 100 foundations costing me an arm and a leg anyway I have stumbled across this treat. Its not 100% the coverage I want, but it also doesn't look cakey which is great for my slightly aging (33) skin. Doesn't clump too badly in my crow's feet and doesn't infuriate that pubescent acne I was told I would grow out of.

First off, light beige isn't light. I got told this gave me a nice glow, but I think it looks orange. It's not terrible, and given the feedback I had, maybe it's just me. I think if you're super pale, though, this is not going to work for you.It has good coverage, maybe -too- high coverage which tends to create a mask-like effect. It's not very blendable but it does cover literally everything. It lasts well and doesn't seem to go oily, and I have verrrrry oily skin. It also doesn't crease too badly, and almost every foundation I've ever used has creased in my smile lines. It's one of the only foundations not to cake around my nose/nostrils too. However, it does settle quite badly into any skin texture you have, somehow.All in all, not bad. I didn't hate it. And I could see it working for some people.BUTThis foundation makes my face itch SO. MUCH. It's amazing I can speak about lasting power when it took all my effort not to touch my face when I wore this. I do know it's relatively touch proof because I was constantly swiping / brushing my face to check for tickling hairs and trying to relieve the itching. I never managed a whole day's wear because the itching was so bad and so worrying. It actually made my eyes water, I felt like I was having an allergic reaction at one point. I've tried a couple of times because it never caused any irritation/redness and I didn't know if it was the foundation and yes... so, so, so itchy.Never buying or using this again... but if it doesn't make you itch and it's not too dark, there's no reason why this foundation isn't for you. Just beware if you have fussy skin.

Dries quick, does sit quite dry on the skin think it has a lot of talc in the formulae as no good for under the eye it’s shows every texture and dries the under eye quite badly. Does emphasise face texture and pores and the general surface of the skin etc but the coverage is great, really amazing and the hue and colour is very soft and pretty. It’s a thin liquid but sets quick in a talc sort of way soaking up any moisture on the face, provides full coverage. If I had very smooth slightly oily skin I would adore this but I have dry, textured skin and therefore I am in the middle. I usually use MAC studio fix which for me provides a nicer colour (more yellow based) and doesn’t make my skin look so bumpy but this beats it on price and coverage. This I find is a neutral tone instead of truly yellow based and is slightly lighter than I would ideally like. Make sure you moisturise and use a moisturising primer before use, avoid the under eye or dry patches, don’t set with a heavy powder it will cause cake face. If the formulae would set less dry I would love but for me it’s a win on coverage and brightening the skin but fails in not making the skin look like a mountain terrain of bumps, it just grabs onto every bit of texture even on areas where I thought i was quite smooth. It’s a shame. I will continue to use but will try to combat dryness with other products. Not sure if I will repurchase or go back to studio fix that makes my skin look more soft and velvet without drying and showing up texture, it’s blurrs and smooths more I think. Good value for money, coverage again is perfect. For smooth skin it will really deliver.

Best non greasy foundation ever, you need to moisturise your skin very well before applying.I have combination skin and works wonders.It is not full coverage but it is build able.It gives you a nice looking skin without the grease, my best friend, who has acne prone skin swears by this foundation, its the only one that's working for her.

Wasn’t expecting to like this as I am obsessed with another foundation but sometimes like to try different ones for the sake of trying but I really like this and it looks flawless and isn't cakey at all, almost gives a smooth photoshopped finish and works well for my combination skin so will definitely alternate this with my regular foundation.

I bought the product, it had excellent coverage but was too matte for my liking (fine lines at 34 😥). I gave it to my daughter and it looks absolutely amazing on her. Its absolutely flawless and the coverage is amazing. The scent they've added to the formula also rivals that of some high end/high priced alternatives on the market. I would recommend anyone to give it ago.

I have been using Estee Lauder Double Wear for good decade at wooping 35£ per pot, as nothing cheaper was ever even close to that quality. Found it accidentally and got intrigued by reviews so i thought at this price I'm willing to trial it. Glad I did as I got converted now - got same good coverage and very good colour match in nicer and lighter consistence for 1/3 of the price!

I tried a Catrice foundation that I bought in Spain and loved it so when I ran out I thought I would try this one. It’s a good colour match as I have olive skin and it blends well but it lasts all day and it is the first foundation that actually keeps my oily skin matte. I’m not having to apply face powder all the time and my skin looks natural and much smoother with this foundation. It’s better than all the top brands I have used, great value for money and the dropper is easy to use too. You will notice such a difference with this!!
