Light weight and well made, Ergodyne vest requires 600 ml of cold water to keep your body temperature well regulated. Wear it under your shirt and lather on the sun screen to feel protected during walks in hot weather.

Worked for my brother
My brother has MS and really suffers in the heat - I got him one of these vests and he says it’s GREAT and kept him chill

although the fit was pretty good a medium would of been better suited
As a carpenter who is outside most of the year I am always on the lookout for a product or tool that will make my life easier so after seeing this vest in one of my construction magazines I thought id give it a try, unfortunately in the end it was returned. I got the large as the widest part of my chest was 39 inches and a medium was for 38 inches or less, although the fit was pretty good a medium would of been better suited. The vest itself is a lot shorter than a normal reflective vest that you would wear and was above my belly button which I believe is quite to short. Heres the problems I had and how I tested it I used the vest for 6 days in high 80s to mid 90s heat in new jersey, it was also humid. I wore the vest for half a day and half with out it and switched between using it for the first part of the day and for the second part of day to get a good feel for it. I filled the vest up in the morning with chilled water that I had in my fridge overnight and did the rest of the instructions. The vest was nice and cool to the touch for around an hour or two but after that it became warm and sticky which is what I was avoiding and the reason why I bought this vest over the normal one that you soak in water. In the end this vest made me more hot, sticky and uncomfortable than just working in a regular shirt. overall I also had concerns about the longevity of the vest, the material is quite thin and eventually it would come in contact with a nail or something and tear, which normally wouldn't be a problem with a shirt but since the outside and middle layer hold the water in im pretty sure it would render the vest useless. And lastly this vest is overpriced which I wouldn't mind it stayed cool for the 2 to 3 days it says it does, and the fact that its way to short in length. If you have any questions feel free to reply

Great cooling vest if you dont mind being wet while wearing it.
This purchase does keep my husband cool while working, however it leaks the entire time. We thought once you fill it up with water and it starts to cool that he would be cool and DRY. we even filled it up with less water thinking it would make a difference but it didn't.
