Swanson Full Spectrum Turmeric & Black Pepper 60 Veg Caps 2 Pack

I like that these are vegan friendly and contain the complete turmeric. Recent studies show that curcumen is NOT the only anti-inflammatory ingredient in turmeric, and that you get best results from the complete root. Also, adding a small amount of black pepper does increase the bio-availability of the turmeric. One capsule matches the dose recommendation from many places I have looked. Of course, if you want more, you can take two or more capsules. The price is reasonable as well. Not as inexpensive as just buying the root and adding a small amount to your smoothy, but more convenient for sure.

Wasn't sure what rating to give this. My husband is using this as a supplement on the recommendation of his daughter. We don't know if it is helping him at all yet but it certainly isn't hurting him. He has a rare form of cancer so we thought he should see if it helps at all.

I have back pain and shoulder pain. This product works well in reducing the pain daily. I will always use it.

A good basic turmeric/black pepper blend with no fancy additives. Great for people who just want a healthy little metabolism boost but not needing to lose a lot of weight. Shipping was quick, too-- even with the busy holidays going on!

These I can tolerate! I have tried to make my own turmeric paste and just couldn't eat it! I chose these because they also have pepper in them, which is what causes the turmeric to work better. A lot of the turmeric pills do not have pepper.

Black pepper is supposed to help turmeric absorption but I couldn't find it in any stores near me. This is a great find at a good price.
