Many reviews have stated how easily these come apart
Many reviews have stated how easily these come apart. Unfortunately those were correct. However, I used this product to cover part of our wood floors for my daughter. It was GREAT! It saved her countless times while playing or trying to walk. She got such joy out of taking the mat apart and looking so accomplished. Chewing on it never compromised the mat or the foam, so very safe!

Not a fan, sorry...
Pretty colors, but unfortunately very slippery on wood floors- no gription. The pieces are so small and divided, that a little child over the age of 6 months can pull them apart. Plus, the sides that you see with the other colors are actually individual end pieces. They come off very easily as well.

Awful
Awful. At least when used as a baby play mat. It’s just pieces of foam, like there’s no easy to wipe top layer, so dirt really sticks on to it & it isn’t easy to clean. Tiles don’t tightly interlock and they’re flimsy. Honestly can’t think of one thing I like about this product. For nearly $16 a pack, not worth it. I bought 3, and unfortunately opened 2 of them so won’t be able to return. My baby seems to like it though, she can’t stop pulling it apart to chew on it. So there that.

Maybe not great for babies
The product is quite nice. Good colors, good padding, looks nice. However, there is one aspect which make this product not ideal for my 6 month old. As everyone knows, babies put everything in their mouth. The edges/borders of the mat do not connect tightly. My baby pulls them off and chews on them. I'm a bit nervous that she will be able to bite a corner off and choke on it. I might try super gluing it together. Parental supervision required! I'm sure once she is out of this stage I will love the mat even more. If you have a baby, think carefully before purchasing.

Great Value!
This is a mostly ideal product. It is not primary colored and it is reasonably priced (win!) but that does come with some compromises -- the tiles are not great at interlocking (you have to duct tape the back if you don't want them coming apart at the faintest notion of pressure) and that'll take 25 yards of tape. There are also some color variations, I needed 3 packages to complete my mat and if you're a crazy person like me you'll be swapping tiles around trying to make it as least noticeable as possible. Speaking of color -- it's a grey-white, not a white-white and light purple. This is mostly fine because the "white" does what white does and gets random stains even though it's mostly me and a 3 month old and we don't wear shoes in the house. Magic Erasers help.At the end of the day it's a fine product that cushions my kids head as she tries to roll over and isn't ugly as sin like the rest of the mats out there.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I adore the colors for these mats! They're a lavender purple and exactly what I was looking for! They're super easy to put together and they customer service is amazing! It was a smaller area then I was expecting but the price can't be beat. I will be ordering more!

Knowing she liked the chevron pattern
After purchasing the more expensive skiphop floor tiles for my son, I decided to try these. Since lavender gray showed up instead of the then advertised gray color, I gave them as a gift. Knowing she liked the chevron pattern, I put it together for her. They're thinner, don't stick together well on hard floors, and were a pain to fit together. The ridges of the triangles aren't all the same so it just takes a bit longer to put together. You're given the exact number of border pieces needed for a square and depending on the design, the colors probably won't match up. This is definitely a, "you get what you pay for," kind of purchase. I think I would've cared less about everything else if they'd just been a little thicker. They didn't seem like they'd do much for softening my son's landings as he learns to stand/walk/fall.
