STIXX - Count Biodegradable Golf Tees

I like the dual pack of tees containing both the longs and shorts. From what I've seen these tees hold up better than normal tees and it's a huge plus that when they do break they're biodegradable. The only con I have is that, like most eco-friendly products, you're paying a bit of a premium.

I like that the sizes are mixed and different colors based on length.As far as being significantly more biodegradable that wood, I am not too sure about the veracity of that claim. There may be some difference, as bamboo is a grass type of material, not hardwood as other tees are. That said, I do know that using Bamboo is much more Eco-friendly than wood in regard to sustainability and availability. Bamboo plants grow much faster than hardwood trees. This makes it much more versatile supply wise than a wood product, so I would purchase these again if needed for that fact alone.Now, all of this assumes that these are actually bamboo. I compared these to my wood tees by breaking and there is a difference. These are actually fibrous inside. Does not appear to be wood. So it definitely looks like bamboo, but no way to know for sure without testing. One other thing I will note, is that these definitely do not break as often as my wood tees did. I find myself using a lot fewer of these than my wood tees. Many times I have been surprised the tee is not broken when I pick it up. That fact justifies the cost and also leads me to believe they are actually bamboo.

The tees are great. However, I ordered 2 bags of these expecting there to be 60 green and 40 white tees. And there was 60 green ones in each bag but was short 2 white ones in one bag and short 10 white in the other. Normally I wouldn't complain about being a few short of something when the product is good and to be honest, probably wouldn't have noticed but I was using these to make little giveaway bags and actually needed ALL of the tees that I paid for. My other problem was one of the bags was completely trashed so they just re-bagged the ruined bag into another bag. That should have been my first clue that some would be missing...Update: Stixx followed up with me and resent 2 bags of the tees (complete bags with none missing). They were very prompt and efficient in getting replacements to me. I've now updated to 4 stars. :-)

Very good product, sustainable, biodegradable , durable, packaged perfectly for short and long tee shots. Yes, they break, they're wood but they are strong and reusable. I used plastic tees for years and they would break and I would lose them off the tee. I feel so better about something that will biodegrade over time - glad I've made the switch and very satisfied with this product.

Good, quality plastic tees. Being bio-degradable is a plus. On my tees, I prefer the full circular head as opposed to the three or five prongs that sometimes hold the ball up. These tees work just fine, not pulling your ball one way or the other just after launching from the tee box. They break rather easily when compared to other plastic tees, but they seemed to break at soil level rather than having just the head snap off, so you can still use what's left over for iron shots. They don't bend like other plastic tees do, which I prefer since the tee boxes at my local course have been rock hard lately. Recommended, especially if on sale like when I bought them.

I am a (multiple) repeat customer, and I am VERY pleased with your product. I love the fact that they are biodegradable. The two-color scheme for longs and shorts is great. I consider myself reasonably intelligent, but it is nice to have some no-brainer items in my golf bag.I have purchased 5-6 of these for myself, and also for my father as a gift. He is recently retired and plays golf with other retirees at least once a week. One of his playing partners noticed them and asked for some. We gave him a bag, hopefully he has placed an order already.I love this product and will continue to purchase it.Justin Smith

Ok. I keep getting annoying emails looking for a review on golf tees. They are the right length, great color, biodegradable and they look like they will hold up a golf ball. So, in happy. It's early in the season. I have not been on the course but feel very confident they will meet my needs. I won't reorder cause reviewing a standard golf tee seems over the top.

4 stars because there isn't really anything about them that is 5 star... They'll do the job and they weren't expensive.Maybe I'm the only dumb one, but I didn't know they were wood tees.. I was actually looking for biodegradable not-wood tees (something similar to plastic that is biodegradable). Either way... that wasn't super clear, but it's probably my fault for not looking hard enough.
