Where I live it's near impossible to buy bulk plain walnuts, and even if they are available it will never say whether they are raw or not- even the store workers couldn't tell me if they were raw or not, or have any added salt or oil. As far as I can tell these are just pure, raw, fresh, great tasting walnuts. I mix them with chocolate chips or candy corn bits in a big tupperware. It makes a great stable snack and awesome source of omega 3's. Much healthier than raw almonds in my opinion. Have ordered twice and will order again!

I had been ordering Diamond Brand walnuts for years but on the last couple of orders the seller substituted another brand which was tasteless and almost rancid. Not wanting to take that chance again, I decided to try out the Nuts U.S. brand and was very pleasantly surprised. They were quite fresh and had an excellent flavor. One item of note is that although they advertise 80% halves, I estimated my bag to contain more than 90% halves. Very few pieces. I will definitely order again.

The walnuts are fresh and delicious, will not purchase from my local grocery store as they have a stale taste !!!!

The walnuts were not fresh. In fact, rancid is a better description. Of course, due to fact it is a grocery item, returns and refunds are not allowed. I purchased three bags hoping to enjoy, instead I am so disappointed and will not buy this item ever again.
