Q: How does the nonstick coating hold up in this pot? I know not to use metal spoons etc, but my husband keeps using them anyway.

Yes - I have had this for a couple of years now and the nonstick coating has held up well. I do not recommend you put this pot in a dishwasher as it affects the outside of the pot leaving an odd coating that had to be washed off by hand - we now clean ours by hand.
