Savage : King's Wolves MC- Book 1

If you like your romance a little dark then this is for you, it's a fantastic telling with lots going on and plenty of emotions and upheaval that will keep the pages turning, this is a first time for me but I'm already waiting to read more.

The title says it all, your emotions will be savaged through this epic adventure.

Please take note of the authors warning of dark themes and triggers. There are so many reviews i see with low ratings because a book is dark and they ignored the warning. No need to down play an authors work because it didnt suit you. I usually wouldnt read dark themed books but i received an ARC copy of Savage in exchange for an honest review. As stated I normally dont go for this type of trope but i am now invested in the characters we're introduced to and want to see how they grow and hopefully find someone for themselves. Im quite squeamish so i admit i skimmed over the detailed torture scenes but like the idea that they get revenge for what theyve been through.

Savage is book 1 of the King’s Wolves MC series. It features a beguiling cast of characters, all brutally predatory, all deliciously intriguing, all incredibly complex - including Savage, the MMC and the President of the King’s Wolves, and Maleia, the FMC, a fierce phoenix rising from the ashes of horrendous and sustained torture and sexual abuse whilst held captive by an underground trafficking ring.Their meeting seems fated, and it’s clear from the off they understand and accept they were forged in the same fiery hell of sin and damnation, bound to each other in unexplainable ways.I’m not ashamed to admit, I adore the ‘instalove’ aspect of their story, it makes their journey to their HEA all the more significant - it’s a true meeting of minds and souls.There’s a poeticism to Emmaleigh’s writing that speaks to me. Her style adds an extra layer of meaning to both the characters and the story, and marks her story apart from most other MC Romance novelists. And she’s definitely succeeded in creating an MC world where I want to learn everything, about every character and their every complex and beautifully brutal facet. I’ll happily continue to devour every book she writes in this series.

Well what can I say? I love all the guys in this series and savage is no exception …he is just everything! Emmaleigh always writes the most dark and sinful love stories and when I say dark I mean dark so check those trigger warnings! But if you love your books spicy and sinful with hot possessive men that will tear the world apart for their woman then don’t even hesitate to dive in 🥵🥵

4.5 Stars.Hooked from the very first page, this book jumps straight into the action.This book is dark, hot and sexy. FIlled with some impressive (sometimes a little disturbing) violence . There is also some truly filthy spice scenes including 🔪 and blood play that are just excellent.I did find some parts a little too poetic , especially from characters that it wouldn't make much sense from, however, it's fiction and it did make for some truly beautiful writing.I received an arc of this book and am leaving an honest review voluntarily.

A gritty, dark, hauntingly heart wrenching book.This amazingly written book shows real love has no boundaries, it’s gritty and raw but shows that no matter how broken and unlovable you think you are there is your other half out there who will love you monsters and all. Through the savagery of flames!I can’t wait to read more of this series, I need to know more about the crazy but lovable members of this MC.

New author to me but wow brilliant book can’t wait for more from this author. Had me hooked from start to finish
