Work horse, easy to use
I have never used a hammer drill before. My wife and I have been digging up fence posts to re-cement them. Many of the posts had poorly poured cement and they were tilting almost 25°.After hitting my thumb using a chisel and sledge hammer… I decided to purchase a hammer drill. It has been fantastic! I have been using the chisel bit, easily switch to hammer mode, and breaking concrete very easily. My son (unlike his dad) has used several different hammer drills at his work site. He tried this thinkworx and was super impressed at how industrial (high-grade) it felt and the vibration-dampening feature. For me, the value was excellent. I would buy this again if I needed to replace the current. I am in day 4 of our project and 9 posts in. It ha been very worth it.

Works great for $75
I bought this specifically for chiseling out my old concrete shop floor to get it level and install 10x 6" 18mm concrete anchors for my lift. It worked great. Plenty of power. The adjustable speed/power really makes detailed chiseling and more accurate drilling easy when needed. The dampened, shock absorbing grip is a nice touch. There is a card in the package that lets you register and get a free 12 month warranty extension!

A substantial tool for heavy work.
I bought the tool to remove plank wood flooring which had been glued to a plywood subfloor. Along with the angled chisel if did a great job. I liked the locking tool head rather than the standard tool chuck where the tool would vibrate loose. The instructions suggest greasing the gearbox every 50 hours of use. I checked it daily. If the gear box fails repairing it costs as much as replacing the entire thing.Pro:* Even with the weight it was easy to get the tool to apply pressure where it needed to be.* Included grease to get you started.* Heavy storage case easily fit the tool and accessories without crimping the cord.Con:*Yep it's heavy. In either of the hammer modes it's going to tire you out.*The gearbox made it so I had to hold the tool upside down to get the right angle on the chisel to get under the flooring. It still worked great.*The handle would not stay where I wanted it. Often it was easier just to use the gearbox as a handle. Not really a con but it is LOUD. That is to be expected of this type tool but no kidding get some GOOD ear protectors not just those little foam plugs. All in all this tool is a keeper.

Great tool.
All I know is that my husband absolutely loved his tool for so many different jobs. He was so surprised it lasted. He needed it for one little task and ended up using it for everything else. He’s a craftsman made in USA guy so he was opposed at first but now it is one of his favorites.

Everything was there that I bought and make sure you read the directions before you use the tool, it was worth the buy of owning my own drill that I worked for.
