Quality comes with cost. Buying junk is money lost.
While I haven’t had an actual flat tire to pump up with this pump, I did put this pump through a trial run in my garage. It does its job well! It’s a well built pump that exudes quality from the knurled grip ends of the aluminum shaft to the pumps internal guts. Some complain that it’s on the heavy side. I say suck it up! Most users aren’t professional bike riders and the few ounces more that it weighs isn’t going to make a difference in your ride. It’s heavier because it’s not made from cheap, thin aluminum and plastic junk. This pump is made to last. It costs $$ to buy made in the USA quality. You might say that you can buy two or maybe even three pumps for the price of this baby. Why bother buying three. Be smart. Save your money up and wait to buy until you can afford the Tattico. YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU DID.

Great pump!
I have two of these, on two different bikes. I prefer these over CO2 for several reasons... One, is these essentially take up zero storage space if you use the mount that comes with it, as it will mount behind a water bottle cage. But, for me, the biggest thing is that you NEVER run out of air! How many CO2 cartridges do you carry? What if someone else needs some air? Do you sacrifice your CO2 to help out, or leave them to their own devices? Do you air up, air down occasionally as trail conditions change between paved, to gravel, to single track? Yeah, a CO2 inflator and a cartridge or two is more compact and a little lighter so for the road rider that counts grams, that may be the best setup. But for longer rides, multi day trips, or rides involving a lot of terrain changes, I prefer the undying air supply provided by a quality pump. And the Tattico is very hard to beat in this role! Come across a rider with Schraders on the trail, No problem. Need to help a buddy? No problem. Have couple of punctures on a ride? No problem. Hard to go wrong with the Tattico if not counting grams to the extent that a little extra outrides all of the other advantages a pump has over CO2.

Quality Product - Works Well
I needed a small pump for a cross-country bicycle trip. After being frustrated reading fake reviews of products that were 50% one-star and 50% five-star, I decided to get this one. It has a lot going for it1. Small and light ( but not too light to be durable)2. Works with Presta or Schrader valves3. Short hose to make it easier to attach and pump.4. Always ready to work.5. It really works!I like not having to worry about running out of CO2 cartridges or dead batteries. It comes with a little mount that can fit under your bottle holder. The mount is quite secure and it has a small rubber strap just incase you really hit something hard!Yes, it takes a lot of strokes compared to a floor pump. Of course it does, it is tiny! I can't say what its max pressure is since I run my tires 45-50 psig. But it works... and I think it will keep working for a long-long time. Add a patch kit and you will always get home. You will be happy with this pump!

A quality product that could be lighter
A recent flat on the road uncovered the fact that my old frame pump had been uselessly hanging on for a ride for a year or two, since it didn't work at all any more! I decided to purchase a 'more than mini' pump and Silca has made some of the best pumps in the world for a century. They have recently become a super-premium brand, with some floor pumps selling for over $500, and I thought I could add a quality piece of equipment for a less than crazy price. The pump is great, far more powerful than some of the tiny 'lipstick' pumps, I would confidently approach any tire with it. I'm dinging one star because it is heavier than I would like - but it has a long stroke, quality materials and seals and inflates very quickly.

Premium portable pump that's worth the price.
For QUALITY and DURABILITY, I already gave it 5 stars. Was hemming and hawing about giving it 4 stars for VALUE FOR MONEY (because this is "premiumly priced", then decided that even that deserves 5 stars.Aside from the quality of materials used WHICH YOU CAN FEEL, the pump works very well. One of the best parts is the chuck with a lever; most other portable pumps don't have that lever, and the presta valve becomes the weak point in the pumping connection, especially when you get a flat and are hurrying to get your inner tube inflated and VIOLENTLY pumping in a rush. That levered chuck is a godsend! While I also have the Eolo IV and CO2 cartridges, it really takes me only one minute or so to inflate the tire (700 x 28c inflated to around 70 psi - obviously on the side of the road, I don't have the accuracy of a floor pump with a gauge, but it "feels" like 70 psi). It takes me quicker than other portable pumps because of that levered chuck so I can monster my way pumping vigorously. The pump itself pumps more per stroke than other pumps. The Silca Gravelero might be better for anything under 60 psi, but not by much. Anything over 60 psi and you will struggle with the Gravelero, and are better served with this Tattico model. All in all, this is a premium priced product, but worth it. And once you have a flat at the side of the road, all that regret on the capital expenditure for this fine product is completely forgotten, and you'll just be so happy you got this pump than some cheap-o pump.
