Perfect for damp rainy climates
Being in Florida, the felt fabric "non-woven" grow bags kept the soil too wet with our rains and humidity. I tried different soil mixtures with no luck. These are perfect. They drain well but do not dry out. Soil stays moist but not wet. Coolaroo fabric is used in making sunshades and canopies so I expect them to last a long time with our high UV. Plus they are BPA free so I feel ok using for vegetables. Ten gallons are good for tomatoes, peppers, and brussel sprouts. Tip:. They make a pretty moss/thyme green version with the same dimensions but market it as "dog storage bags". I have an order in for those...they will look nice in my garden.

Used as cover for dark pots
I used these as covers because my modern living room is white and my big pots were dark brown. I had to steam wrinkles out of them but they look great with sides completely up or tops folded down.

Great way to start seedlings indoors
We live in a cold winter climate (NE PA) and like to get a jump start on our vegetables for the summer. If we want to start with seeds, it is pretty much essential that we start indoors. This year, we tried these Coolaroo bags in the 10 gal size. We planted green beans in one and tomatoes in the other. You can see the pictures to see how the seedlings did in the bags. We recently moved them outdoors. It was so easy to move the bags and being able to keep the plants in the same container seems like it will work great. We ended up removing some of the tomato seedlings as too many of them started, but we now have three plants in the bag and they look like they're going to do great.I have not tried plant bags before, so we will see how it turns out and whether the bags will be in good enough shape to use indoors again next year, but for now I am very happy.

These look great!
I can’t wait to use these 10 gallon grow bags this spring. They seem great quality and I will be buying more before then! I’d like a half dozen or so to use for my veggies. The 10 gal size will need a minimum of 20 dry quarts of potting mix to start your plants. The plan is tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers in these. The bags come with a cool little gardening guide on what size bags that you can order for what you’re planning to plant. I’m pretty sure you could plant any of them in the larger ones that you prefer, though. It’s just more pot space than that plant would really need. They are made of a plastic material that looks like it will hold up really well throughout the summer and I think you’d possibly get 2-3 seasons out these bags. These are portable for the best possible position for the most sun in the summer or I can put them back on my deck where I don’t have a lot of room. These bags will also make it so easy to weed which I’m happy about as I don’t want a garden that is difficult to maintain.

Heavy duty
Gotten into grow bags. Found them to be excellent with certain tomato varieties. FYI, Bush Goliath does incredibly well in them for SoCal climate. However, the other bags I noticed were more like felt bags. Didn't feel like they would hold up super well. Saw this and thought they might work better. Sure enough, they are wayyyy more sturdy than the others. Good build quality. Kinda wish it came in more of a set but, definitely worth the money over the others.
