Shepherd Hook 92 Inch Tall Heavy-Duty Metal Garden Hanging Pole Stake for Bird Feeder Pole Plant Baskets, Black (1 Pack)

We have a bird feeder that was hanging from a branch in the yard and not easy to see from the kitchen. This great shepherd's crook (which can go up to 9 feet!) was just the answer. I attached enough sections to put it at about 6 1/2 feet and pushed it into the dirt outside our kitchen window. It hold up to strong wind and keeps that feeder in sight. I did buy a baffle, however, to keep squirrels from shimmying up the pole to get at the bird seed. bI didn't see any even try. It must have scared them off.

Very sturdy, coated Shepherd’s Hook. I purchased it to replace a rusted thinner hook for my dual sided suet feeder. Easy to one-person assemble and install. The width of pole is more generous than previous hooks purchased, weather costed and the quad prongs easily entered ground with a simple push of my feet in flip flops (my favorite feature). It has been holding up to the wind and wiley squirrels no problem. I paired it with a weather resistant ant hook. It has been a joy to watch the woodpeckers, jays and songbirds enjoying their garden suet treat.

These are definitely sturdy, actually thought they would be one piece not rods screwed into each other, but that is actually okay so you can adjust the height you want, but I was looking for both height and sturdiness to hang plant baskets. These are actually the best ones I have found.

I really like the product but I ordered the wrong size. I ordered the 60” which was way too short. So since it came with 2 sets I used the extensions for both on the one hanger. So if I could just get the extensions I could use for the second of the set

Very nice quality, but lower than I anticipated. The plant's hook hangs at 44 inches. The item is 60 inches long if you measure from the bottom of the spike to the top of the crook.

Heavy duty I really like the height,Spray cats can't jump that high ! I Need a step ladder I'm short no big deal LOL

I mean, it's a shepherd's hook you buy on Amazon, so it should be no surprise it's several pieces that screw together.Looks sturdy enough, assembled just fine and I haven't had any of the wobble/lean issues others mentioned. If the pieces start coming apart I'll probably loctite or jb weld them and call it a day.A couple observations- this would be great in pairs to string party lights in your green space. Squirrels still climb up it no prob (little punks - the war rages on). 102" is too tall for a bird feeder (I hate Squirrels). I wound up taking a section out to use with a bird feeder.Honestly pretty happy with this purchase.

Use all hardware to mount it high and away from trees. No rodent can climb it. Withstood 40+ mph winds without any tilt.
