This is a truly romantic book and it is Peyton and Xavier's story and it is definitely a must read. Peyton and Xavier are the total opposite of each other in every way as she is outgoing, kind, funny, loving and has a heart of gold where as Xavier comes across as cold, gruff and uncaring but he is really nothing like that when you get to know him. They both have baggage from there past but boy are they perfect together with intense chemistry between them that you can feel it sizzling of the pages but with all there insecurities will they take a chance on each other to see where it goes or will they both good back and miss out on something special. This book was a real page turner with great characters and storyline and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive. Kelly Moran is fast becoming one of my favourite authors and I can't wait to read more of her books.I Voluntarily Reviewed a copy of this book

A thoroughly enjoyable read, the chemistry between Peyton and Xavier is combustible, the build up of the relationship, and the 3 dimensional ity of all the characters make this a great read. The dialogue is wonderful, and the throw away lines sublime. Slight niggles were the couple of instances that looked like they may have led to a bit more of a storyline, but ended up going nowhere. The story really isn't the important factor here, the book is led by the depth of the characters, you believe in them. I was given this book for free by ebookDiscovery. I so enjoy to read of a millionaire and his employee and this one was no exception.Kelly Moran's writing makes this beautiful book hard to put down.I loved the connection between the main characters.Xavier,a geek with social anxiety,and Peyton,a beautiful sociable woman,need each other to be truly whole and happy but their journey is not that simple because they have to fight some of their past demons in order to accept their feelings.I liked so much the secondary characters,Xavier's lovely parents and Peyton's best friend that I hope will get her own book.

This is my honest review.Xavier was such a great character that you just fall in love with him and want to take him home to protect him from the big bad world, Peyton is just the person to help him and they are perfect together, she helps him stay focused when he is in a situation that he can't cope with because of his social anxiety. I love the storyline and the fact that it is so sweet and innocent yet loving at the same time. Both Xavier and Peyton have a past they were at school together and she calmed him even then but she never knew, she's had a hard time after losing all of her family and her fiance, he just wants to protect her and she goes everywhere with him to keep him grounded.It's such a sweet romance and you want them to get together from the start, in parts you want to give them both a shake and tell them what's in front of them that they can't see!I loved this book and read it all in one go without realising what time it was or how much I'd actually read! You just get lost in it without realising, by the time I checked I'd nearly finished it!I'd recommend it to anyone that likes a romance that's well written and at times makes you cry, it's bursting with emotion all the way through yet you never know what's actually going to happen until right at the end which is brilliant, it's not padded out its well written and very absorbing.Everything about this book is brilliant and its a beautiful love story.

From the first page virtually I knew I was going to love this book and as the story developed and I got drawn into the characters and their lives, I was not wrong…this is may very well be one of my favourite reads of the year to date.I loved the way that despite his wealth, software superstar Xavier, was normal, he wasn’t perfect, far from it but while other might have perceived him to be a little on the cold side, I actually thought that nothing could have been further from the truth, he just hadn’t found the right person and so when he hired a Peyton, I just knew that he was stepping outside his comfort zone for a reason and it wasn’t just to do with business.Peyton was everything that Xavier needed and with her by his side, he was the man that I think he was always destined to be, she gave him a grounding, that only enhanced a man that I had fallen head over heels with anyway.Peyton, well she was my star of the read, she was such an amazing woman, with a heart the size of Texas and a love that knew absolutely no bounds, the way she was with Xavier was just so encouraging and so loving that it would be impossible to find a couple that were more perfectly suited. They may have dilly dallied somewhat around the whole employee/employer bit to start with but this pair were only ever going to end up one way, together!A super emotional read that had pockets of humour and more than enough aww, moments along the way, simply put this was simply perfect!

Kelly Moran's characters and stories so accurately reflect the real world, it's amazing. One who seems to have everything, while the other has lost everything. Yet even those who appear to have everything have problems, while those who appear to have nothing, can in fact have everything. Certainly in this case, Peyton Smoke, in spite of losing so much, has everything that Xavier Gaines needs and wants.I loved this story so much, especially the geeky computing analogies used to express Xavier's feelings which fit his personality perfectly.I can't wait for Kelly Moran's next book!
